Thank you for sharing this conversation. It is an extremely interesting debat. I am a french student in Art history and Anthrpology and I must admit that the documentation available in my country is lacking/ flawed. New-Zealand contemporary art ( indigenous and non-indigenous,) and the curatorial practices/ researches, as their cultural institutions deserves to be taught.

wrong id say even b4 seeing this discussion....indegenous art always has a context and when removed from that..it becomes meaningless...the only thing that validate this discussion is seeing things from the western gaze and trying to be yep..something in this world...yep go go go u have that gaze :D..
