Ah the loud ticking timex haha have to say that the indiglo function is one of the most underrated features in the world of watches. Cool little field watch for pretty much pocket change. 👍
Definitely, and this one has both! I think Indiglo/backlight is definitely underused by companies. Imagine a solar powered quartz analogue dive watch with a backlight function...
It's grand on wrist, but put it on a hard surface and it gets a bit louder. NATO helps deaden it, and the expedition isn't the worst(one of my Waterbury's is mental!)
Now that you say it, I see it. But I think that probably goes for a lot of military style watches. The design brief is simple, easy to read, and normally black dial for camouflage/glare reduction.
Great video, I the green strap it comes with is listed as ''Canvas.'' like what they make tents out of. I absolutely love the ''TICKING.'' I love it. I bought a 36mm timex for work ''i do security,'' so i did not want an expensive watch ''in case i have to throw out the trash... so to speak.'' Then after a about 2 to 3 mouths i started really falling in love with the watch. The best part the managers at the club have 2-3 Hunderd dollar watches but no indiglo. While my LUM and INDIGLO puts all of them to shame. I have the ''Expedtition Scout/Acadia. The same as this watch except mine has a Crown Guard. Great view.
How much did you pay for the watch? The ebay link doesn't work anymore and the cheapest similar I could find is £47.96. Is it similar to your purchase price?
It is a loud bugger alright! Especially if you leave it with the case on a solid surface like a bedside locker, it reverberates. Still, looks are lovely
@@TheWatchtowerWatchReviews ye it got the look to say it’s plastic lol not bad for a cheapy cheapo. do timex have one similar with the silent movement?
@@TheWatchtowerWatchReviews the crown dose not seem to engage the indiglo. Bought from kohl’s. Looks like it needs a watch press to access the battery.
Unfortunately without seeing it I can't be too much help, I'd say return it to them if the the indiglo isn't working as it should according to the manual. I don't have a chrono but I assumed it's the same as the Scout, just press the crown in firmly. If you're not comfortable changing the battery to test, I'd say return it
@@TheWatchtowerWatchReviews Thanks for the reply 😊.Can you please tell me whether Timex E class surgical steel Chronograph Enigma (TWEG18600) have indiglow?(The user manual is really confusing and generic.)
