Thankfully (but also unfortunately) people that lives in Java is sprawling across island, not centered only in metro areas, so it's not that crowded. Why I said unfortunately? This sprawling population now create its own challenges in terms of transportation and logistics. Not all areas can be easily accessible, and it resulted to Java's own economic disparity between the people who lives on metro cities and rural areas.

Surprisingly, they're thriving despite all of these challenges. Even though some of these companies have their own issues with their workers because the rate that these services charge is so cheap.

Sebenernya udh dari era SBY. Di era dia udh mulai ada regulasi2 dsb lah. Intinya di masa ini pemerintah pusat udh bisa kembali fokus ke internal. Javanese sailormen have been traveling the world long before Majapahit era. They were after all the descendants of Austronesian and Polinesian, both were seafare experts in pre-historic time.

I meant to say that during Majapahit, they master it all both agriculture and maritime seatrade (before that, Srivijay monopolized seatrade), and most probably also some ancient industries. This doesnt mean that there were no seafarring/ trades from Java before it.

I took this videos as critics for Indonesia. But don't get me wrong. As Javanese live in Java. This condition really not good. If something happen (hope not) to Java it will impact the entire nation. Hopefully the goverment program will reduce Java domination economics and spread it in other region. But I have see goverment have think about it. Like try to move the capital, build new province in Papua, sircuit in Nusa Tenggara until promote many travel destination in Toba (Sumatra), Bali, Mandalika (Nusa Tenggara) etc to up their economics ecosystem. As 🇮🇩 were had Stereotype of "Java Sentries" cause All In Java, and that's be problem for Other Region/Island people migration to Java for Education, Job and Living. I hope in the future every Big Island had Good connection, and build their Region for self And have to analyse what the potential for Island. And I Think Selat Sunda Bridge that's Important to Connection Java and Sumatera, And agree with New Capital in Kalimantan, Build Mega Destination like Bali-NTB-NTT for tourism, also make some New Industrial and Development in Fishing area in Sulawesi also Maluku, Region of Industrial and Harbour like Kepulauan Riau, also had some plan for Papua in the future.
We will never be able to build Sunda straits bridge due to Anak Krakatau unfortunately (though i dont know about the underground channel like in France and Britain). Anyway i think we need to build bridges that connect Java with Bali and both Nusa Tenggara provinces. After all weve built Mandalika, Labuan Bajo aside of Bali as tourist destinations.

Note, the goverment of Indonesia is not well prepared to the infrastructure cost of Nusantara the going to be new capital city. The soil in the place is bad which makes the foundation to take almost the majority of building cost. Building materials are also not common in Borneo, so materials must vome from either Sulawesi, Sumatra, Papua, and Java. Geopolitically is dangerous, why? Because submarines, military ships from another country can crossed by the strait which is the international route for ships. Java on the otherhand (Jakarta) is safe from those international routes.

@@adanpratama8710 You may not know Kalimantan coal from PT Kaltim Prima, PT Adaro, or even PT. Antam which is used in the Power Plant in Java is not free but PLN buys it. If Kalimantan doesn't want to sell to Java the answer is easy we buy it from China or Australia. People on the Island of Java have high HDI or mostly well educated, they can already manage raw materials into finished products. Making vehicles such as motorbikes, cars, ships, trains, planes, even smartphones and computers is all easy and we can make them ourselves without foreign labour. Of course that doesn't happen because the government always buys foreign products.

Indonesia is basically a java centric country despite it's multi ethnic slogan unity in diversity...the economic policy from the beginning is design to suck the resources from the other island and use it to develop java..while Sumatra Kalimantan Sulawesi Maluku and Papua only receive what's is left...and their reason is because java have more population...well this is just an excuse but the fact is the other island is treated like a colony.

too biased. Javanese isn't known for being greedy. Javanese culture is a developed society with the languages itself divided by 5 speaking manners. all to show respect, not greed. Some outlier Javanese was indeed greedier than other, but most of Javanese are polite than you think. If java are too saturated then investor would look for viable place to invest, which is outside java. that is when other island skyrocketing. in 2022, java is already saturated, president already built new capital in Borneo.
