As an Indonesian, I can't accept them... they often run away from shelters. The aid we give them is thrown into the sea and they are ungrateful and insist on staying.
Those rohingyas has causing a lot of domestic problems in Aceh and make many locals in Aceh become very upset with them. No wonder now Acehnese also shut their doors to rohingyas.

Thank you very much. Any European country that often preach about morality which also surely have more money than us like Germany is surely more suitable than our country. They have "brain drain" immigrants for decades so now they should pay for the fair share of this kind of responsibility.
As an Indonesian, I can say they not only break the rules of local tradition by throwing food they recieve like a trash, they also break the rules of moral and humanity by molesting some of our health care volunteer. I personally believe that those who doesn’t have humanity will never be called human. So, yeah.

@@Ur_worst_nightmare00 you have to distinguish coast guard (Bakamla) and navy (TNI-AL). Don't quote me on this, but I think since the focus is on illegal immigration prevention, we can spend a bit more on coast guard. Since it's not full fledged armed service, it may be much more affordable option. Dunno tho, should ask an expert on this.

UNHCR had taken a good care of Rohingya together with Bangladesh Goverment. But they decided to flee from fhe UNHCR camp seeking an economic opportunity elsewhere.They are not escaping from prosecution,but looking for economic gain.

@@ricorpiuzevervard1466 It was all out of the local govt's budget as urged by UNHCR while the org itself is still raising fund, with 85% of it flows to its mgmt level instead, IMHO. Acehnese were right to repudiate them since the budget is thinning out.
Not to mention, the Acehnese themselves don't necessarily eat that much, the local government should hold socialization about the true condition of the Acehnese people to the Rohingya people so that they also understand the conditions of the Acehnese people and know the local culture, so that the Rohingya people understand what to behave

Indonesia itself still has many citizens who need to be cared for, especially many elderly people, children who are malnourished and many people living in poverty. If we reject the arrival of the Rohingya people, it doesn't mean we don't have a sense of humanity. However, our own citizens still live in poverty. As an Indonesian citizen, I have to go abroad for the sake of a bite of rice for my family. If the government allows them (Rohingya) to stay, there will be a bad impact for the Indonesian people and the Indonesian state itself. The right advice is to return them to their origin (their country) and let them fight in their own country!

Ada agen yang mengantarkan mereka serta menyamar sebagai "pengungsi" dan telah tertangkap meskipun sebagiannya telah kabur. Bisa dikatakan ini adalah tindakan penyelundupan yang disengaja. Mereka akhirnya ditolak sana-sini karena sebagian besar berkelakuan buruk, tidak tahu diri, tidak menghormati peraturan dan menganggu keamanan dan kenyamanan warga lokal. Satu lagi, tidak ada kewajiban bagi Indonesia untuk menampung para pengungsi ini.
