A HUNDRED migrants stormed a picture-perfect beach in northern France and waded into the sea, where a “taxi boat” service awaited them.
These men and women - mainly from Vietnam and Sudan - lay in wait all night behind sand dunes in Gravelines, some ten miles from Calais.
And as first light began to illuminate the horizon, they sprang forth from the darkness and made a frenzied sprint for the shore.

Blame the Govt for major cut backs to our Military...Nato is busy deploying them elsewhere either for so-called peacekeeping or training other militaries. Do you think our Military like this? With cut backs in budgets, contracting out on most things they are not in a position to do this. The recent announcement last week of more funding is a drop in the bucket but welcome never-the-less, they need to double that amount to start with and stop contracting out.

Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates have very high standards of living for their rich with lots of luxury hotels. Qatar looks incredible with their fabulous planned communities, luxury hotels. Search internet photos of Qatar and that place looks very futuristic. They should accept immigrants. Those countries have money and probably a labor shortage for people to work in those hotels.

The French Navy vessel is visible in some shots. It’s waiting for them to leave shore, and will then escort them to mid-Channel, where a UK Border Force vessel, or RNLI lifeboat, will take over and escort the dinghy to Dover…

All the government needs to do is deploy the navy patrol boats along the channel, it’s not illegal for us to do this , the Tories are simply allowing this to happen. When 5 drowned , 2 Senegalese nationals were arrested within 24 hours , so I ask this question: Why no arrests prior to the 5 drowning?
