Why do I love Indonesia? You know, Mother Nature in this country is the mastermind behind major natural disasters that can hit many countries and cause many fatalities, not just 1 or 100 times, but more than that. I will provide that information. Imagine, in 1 city alone there are at least 100 tourist attractions (In 1 city). It's really crazy, no one knows Indonesia 100%. Because there are so many misunderstandings with tourist attractions in Indonesia. Even the sea in Indonesia has something like the Bermuda Triangle and natural attractions that make no sense. Because when we go to Indonesia the people are confused and have to make plans where we are going. When I was a teenager, at the high school level I always studied and read books about nature in a library located in Europe. I found a book that said "Tambora The Years Without Summer" then also found a book that said "Krakatoa". Both of these books tell about nature and its brutality at the same time. Not only that, in the book it is explained that the incident is located in 1 country but in different regions. Was it the only tragedy that was written by the International? No, there is a lot of history of major natural disasters in Indonesia that are written internationally. I have to be honest when talking about Indonesia, without many people realizing that nature in Indonesia is also very cruel, often raging, abnormal and brutal. Total natural disasters in Indonesia (8 Years Calculation) : >Year 2022 = 1.421 (Period Jan - Jun). >Year 2021 = 3,058 >Year 2020 = 2,925 >Year 2019 = 9,375 >Year 2018 = 3,397 >Year 2017 = 2,341 >Year 2016 = 2,342 >Year 2015 = 1,682 Total natural disasters for 8 years = 26.541 (This is the most violent, brutal and deadly category in the world because of calculations in 1 country, not Chile/Japan). I became very interested in the history recorded by the International and finally I bought a textbook on natural disasters in Indonesia written by European researchers, scientists and historians. It turned out to be much more amazing, that's when I fell in love with nature in Indonesia. This is not only about beauty but also about history which has a huge impact on many countries in the world. Nature in Indonesia is not only beautiful, but also very unique, different, diverse, strange and great. But on the other hand it is also deadly, brutal, often occurs, many casualties and is written in European history. That is nature in Indonesia, it has very different class categories. If you know all the volcanoes, rivers, lakes, caves, waterfalls, beaches, mountains, rice fields, forests, wastelands and others in Indonesia (Nature), the nature is very insane. For me personally, a visit to Indonesia is the most memorable for me because I have visited 51 natural tourist attractions. Maybe I will come back again in 2024 to visit 109 tourist attractions, I have to save first. List of natural tourist attractions in Indonesia that I have visited. 1). Krakatoa. Even on trains, buses, airplanes, and ships, you can see different views from one country. It's really crazy, like going to another country but still in the same country. Imagine in 1 city and even then there are many tourist attractions. What about Indonesia as a whole? Millions of tourist attractions. Therefore, many people misunderstand tourism in Indonesia because it is too much and varied. Then you will find something unique and strange, at least go on 30 different trips to tourist attractions in Indonesia and I am sure you will have a much more extraordinary experience and lasting memories. Did you know if we look at the map of the Indonesia territory, it's like a person / Jinn who sleeps on his back. Sumatra : Feet. Kalimantan : Stomach. Jawa, Bali, Nusa Tenggara : Spine. Sulawesi : Bosom. Maluku : Neck. Papua : Head. Other small islands : Acne. Not only that, Indonesia has more than 500 volcanoes = Active, inactive and underwater. (Overall). QUEEN MOTHER NATURE IN INDONESIA 10/10 (Mother Nature in Indonesia when viewed 100% is very colossal). Nature in Indonesia is really insane very different class categories, there is a saying that says : (Indonesia is the throne Queen Mother Nature). There is even a study that has visited 400 tourist attractions in Indonesia and it is only 10% for him. From Sabang Sumatera to Merauke Papua (in 1 country) is expensive and long distance. It costs the same as you flying from Mexico to Argentina or Egypt to Dubai or Jakarta to South Korea or Spain to Belarus or India to Turkey or Maldives to Mongolia. Indonesia was originally not an archipelago but a mainland called SUNDALAND (Western side of Indonesia) and SAHULLAND (Eastern side of Indonesia). However, 70% of the land was sunk into the ocean. The territory of Indonesia is 60% sea, 30% (Forests, Volcanoes, Caves, Waterfalls, Rivers, Lakes, Mountains, Forests, Deserts, Cliffs and Canyons) and 10% Man-made. The total area of Indonesia is 8.5 million km² (Including land, sea and EEZ). The coastline of Indonesia is more than 95,000 km² (The calculation of 55,000 km² is a wrong calculation because it is not from research calculations but from ordinary people who only guess). Even Indonesia has a lot of "National Parks for rehabilitation, conservation and nature reserves". Indonesia is HEAVEN and HELL which collide with each other simultaneously. Has 2 different sides, representing real life. Traveling to Indonesia is not just about a relaxing and exciting travel experience, it is much deeper and more than that. You can even feel disappointed, emotional, confused, sad, tired, give up, smile, laugh, afraid, goosebumps, satisfied and others at the same time. Traveling to Indonesia, you will also feel the little things while in Indonesia. Did you know that on the island of Bali itself it is estimated that there are more than 450 tourist attractions that you can visit. That's why many people compare Bali tourism with other countries (Even though Bali is one of the islands in Indonesia). Surely that's a comparison, because in Bali alone there are more than 400 tourist attractions which are equivalent to a country that is approximately as big as Bali, especially when compared to Indonesia 100%. Imagine that from the past until now, nature in Indonesia has been studied by many countries. Therefore, Indonesia is called prehistoric land by the International. In one country, there are things that are different, varied, many strange and whatever. That is why Indonesia was only known to the world in 2018, because researchers leaked information about nature in Indonesia when Krakatoa erupted in 2018 which caused approximately 500 people to die and 7,000 people to be injured and 47,000 people to evacuate. Is that the only thing that happened in Indonesia? Bali-Lombok Earthquake, Palu Earthquake 2018 and more than 1,000 natural disasters occur in 1 year in Indonesia. Important note : Always be careful when visiting nature in Indonesia, I am talking about nature because recently a foreign tourist died at the Mount Batur. That's not all that happened, I just gave one example. Remember, nature in Indonesia has 2 different sides at once. If these 2 sides are combined it will be "DEADLY BEAUTY". (One Above All). My experience while visiting several countries in Southeast Asia (2016 - 2017) THAILAND: It's fun, because there are so many attractions there. Even food and drinks in Thailand can be said to be familiar such as Tom Yum Goong, Tom Kha Gai, Pad Thai and Gae Daeng. Thailand is a popular tourist place. MALAYSIA : I visited Kuala Lumpur, Twins Tower Petronas, Langkawi, Batu Caves, Penang Hill, Genting Highland and LegoLand Malaysia. I can conclude that Malaysia is interesting and even good. I can say that Malaysia is also visited by many tourists. PHILIPPINES: With many islands more than 7000 I visited Boracay, Rizal Park, Mactan Island, Manila Ocean Park, Mount Taal, Mount Apo and Cebu. The beaches in the Philippines are beautiful with calm waters and beautiful views. The Philippines also has great food and drink. SINGAPORE : When I was here some interesting things were found, namely you can cross the ocean to one of the regions in Indonesia. Most tourist attractions in Singapore are man-made, so it is more towards the economy and business. INDONESIA : At first I did not know about Indonesia, but eventually I became interested in reading a natural history phenomenon in Indonesia. I was surprised that it had all been recorded in European libraries for a long time, I have to admit that nature in Indonesia is VERY CRAZY. Nice share .Did you travel budget -hiker mode, with a group tour by plane or boat, and did you seek out locations on your own or planned in advance as your itinerary suggests in your listing ? I want to plan a trip to include some of those locations , prime among them Angkor Wat . The one place with disturbing repression right now is Burma. The country that makes that repression and killing more efficient is Israel for selling weapons and tools used against native people. I don't want to be insulated from the culture, just observe beside it .
Ive been to many well known places in europe but when I got with my indonesian girlfriend and we went to bali/jakarta together it was the best trip of my life.
@Tarik Hodzic and don't forget to visit banyuwangi (the eastest district in java). There are many spot tourism that recomended to visited. Like blue fire in mount ijen.
@Tarik Hodzic Bali... for the first time visit to Indonesia. But for the beaches, Lombok and Komodo National Park in Labuan Bajo are more beautiful than Bali. Indonesia has 34 Provinces and every province has different landscape, culture, foods and natural beauty.
Tarik Hodzic raja ampat is the best place to visit in Indonesia, it’s in the east of Indonesia where Papuans live. But the prob is, it is crazy expensive even 99% Indonesians are never go there

Probably because of toxic society (mostly), bad education, couldn't find proper jobs with good salary, corruption by the government, not to mention there's lot of extremists group, but it's all depends on where you live, there's many peace places in Indonesia

Bangka, belitong, weh, nias, mentawai Island is popular destination in nearby Sumatra,. , nusa penida, nusa lembongan, gili air , gili trawangan, lombok, flores,Sumba, Sumbawa, kelimutu tricolor lake, komodo island is destination in nearby Bali.,.,.and in east java you can visit red sea beach Banyuwangi, Mt Ijen blue fire volcano, Mt Bromo, Tumpak sewu waterfall, Madakaripura waterfall, kapas waterfall,, Central java, Yogyakarta, West Java, thousand Islands in Jakarta, Karimunjawa in north Java, Borneo Islands(in east borneo you should visit Maratua, Derawan, sangalaki, kakaban(you could swimming with stingless lake jellyfish just like in siargao Philippines and in Palau) , teluk sulaiman, labuan cermin etc,,. Sulawesi Wakatobi,Labengki,sombori, togean, una una, Bunaken etc,.,.,in Maluku(Molluca) Banda, Kei, Morotai etc, AND Raja ampat, especially Misool raja ampat, balbulol and dafalen spot, blue river in waigeo Raja ampat and many mores
