Video Release Schedule:
Right now we are following a twice a month release schedule as we are currently working on a couple of big projects here at the Golfshop, and our goal to ramp backup will resume to weekly releases, and perhaps twice a week once they have been completed.
More About Us: We've been building and fitting clubs for the better part of 13 years, and what once started out in the basement of our house has now turned into a Professional Club Fitting business that rivals the likes of some of the more notable ranked Club Fitting Companies out there like: Club Champion, Golftec, TrueSpec, and TXG to just name a few.
Current Fitting Matrix: Callaway, Cobra, Cleveland, Mizuno, Miura, Ping, PXG, Srixon, Taylormade. Hopefully one day we will add Titleist.

Thumbs up for the egg crate tip! Been hunting for both an acoustic treatment and padding solution.

It works so good and is a fraction of the cost, when compared to the legit sound proofing panels.

Thank you was not enough. I need to explain why I’m thankful. I have been thinking about getting a home simulator since COVID hit. I learned more from your 10min video than all the other videos I have watched over the past year COMBINED!!!

Great video...thanks for all of the information. We are about to order one of the impact screens from One Stop (we will definitely use your code). How is your impact screen attached? Is it only attached along the top (to a beam, etc.)? It looks like it is just draping and not attached at the bottom. Is that correct? Also, do you think there would be any need for an additional screen/curtain behind the impact screen? Like you, we are just looking for a great screen without the wrinkles. Any advice and help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Great question I have hunk this on hooks before with bungees in the side and I also have used bungees all the way around. So it’s completely up to you but you do need the bungees at a minimum on the side

I got my screen from Gung Ho Golf and after about 3 mos (average 12h per week) - the impact screen has numerous "dent" marks from all the ball impact. I have bungee cords all around the screen SAVE FOR THE BOTTOM as I have 12 inches just laying on the floor as sort of a ball return system (which doesnt work because once the ball hits the screen, sometimes the flap on the ground goes in). 1) Would you advise a tighter installation with the bottom as "loose"? 2) It's been 3 mos since the video - how is your screen holding up - no dent marks? Thanks!

Ball return with impact screens is just not possible, believe me i tried, and if there is a way I Just haven't figured it out, but i do like having about 6-8inches of the screen laying on the floor if nothing more then to prevent the ball from getting in behind it. Yes our screens are still holding up perfect, with no dents, or sags. Just please remember though to constantly inspect your golfballs for scuffs. I can tell you without reservation, that this will prolong the life of your impact screen so just make sure they are smooth, heck i will even replace as soon as the the ball starts to get dull. (No longer glossy.)

What projector do you guys recommend? Thanks for all of your videos!
@SwingFit

I like the optoma 4k projectors. You just have to select the right one for the throw distance you need. Projector central is my go to for determining.

How is the screen holding up? I want a screen that will not look like the one you previously had and replaced in this video. Are you saying their single layer impact screen will not deform like your old one did. I am on somewhat of a budget.

Pay VERY close to his tips, I put a hole in my $1500 screen in 3 months from using scuffed up balls. Speed does not kill screens, scratched up balls do. I would also advise to have a scrap piece of screen or net you could hang in front of the main screen if you plan on doing lots of practise. I sure will next time.

Do you have the puzzle mat against the wall or the egg shell against the wall?
@SwingFit
@SwingFit Год назад
Side walls puzzle Matt only. In the front we do the egg carton foam in between
@cadfire1047
@cadfire1047 Год назад
@@SwingFit those mats come in various thickness. Do you have a recommendation? Most common is 1/2” but I’m thinking 3/4” would offer more protection.
@SwingFit
@SwingFit Год назад
@@cadfire1047 but thing is distance the walls are from the center of the hitting Matt. The wider the room the less thickness you will need. But if it’s pretty tight, 3/4 might not be bad. But for our walls we make do with 1/2”

Do you have a video of how you built your screen frame??
@SwingFit
@SwingFit 2 года назад
We do not it was framed in with 2x4’s and osb. Then we attach screw the top part of the screen direct to the frame and then sides are 6” wider then the screen I account for the bungee cords.

@@SwingFit so you have the top of the impact screen hung up there by screws and did bungees on the sides and bottom?

Layer of what? I like how nobody mentions what the material is. What this says is that you can get it for dirt cheap.
@SwingFit
@SwingFit 2 года назад
Speaking candidly it can be a burlap sac for all I care as long as it does the job, and we’ll in regards to dirt cheap I’m a firm believer in you get what you pay for and believe me I’ve owned my fair share of screens and these have been the best, if your tried others and have a favorite then I’m always open to other suggestions…thanks for sharing

Can you clean an impact screen

Not without wearing down the fibers, believe me we’ve tried and the only things that has come close is a magic eraser .
