So it can't simply be fiction? Like the rest of the different stories across the world? "They had mastered the art of energy, frequency, and vibration" yet needed a fire torch (Mashal) to see in the dark, horses for transportation and communication purposes, a chariot, and primitive weapons like bows and swords to fight. Technology and science are additive in nature; they are built on top of the existing technology and science with gradual advancements and improvements. So you can't possibly have the nuclear power and a way to harness it without basic technology like light-bulbs that should have been invented along the way long before. the same people who said to themselves, "Rahu and Ketu swallow the sun to cause an eclipse," "Rishi Agastya drank the seven seas and peed it out, thus the salinity of the ocean", "Chandra, the moon has scars because of Ganesha's curse" "The sun REVOLVES around the earth in his one-wheeled chariot pulled by the seven horses", "Indra causes lightning and rain, etc" Not even a single mention of Saturn's rings etc, No knowledge of viruses or bacteria (microscopic universe around/inside them), leaving no explanation for the epidemics, besides "the fury of the gods". The people who could not explain all these simple basic things were the masters of the sciences. I am not saying that modern civilization could not have existed thousands of years ago; considering modern science is just 200 years old, the industrial revolution could have happened at any point in history, and these people had several thousands of years to spend. But always remember that "extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence". Even if our species is wiped out, evidence of our modern world will always be beneath and revolving around our planet. So where is the proof of theirs? other than a "very old, flawed holy book says so," that is. Also, pay attention to the extra details, e.g., take a look at the work/jobs they had to rely on for their livelihood, and notice how they are exactly similar and pretty close to those of the, say, 5th, 10th, or 16th century, and now look at modern civilization. Notice how scientific advancement has created so many different new jobs and affected our existing jobs and lives severely.
Dont forget to appreciate that's a quite great dialogue writing and dubbing over there. Never thought our indian mythology can be shown so good in English too.
This is good production but remove some elements which r made in ekta kapoor style. Look old ramayana serial still looks real. What is that ring for beard. Why make abs or accessoires like Hollywood and the building are not in ancient style.
Watched it 7 years ago still give me same feelings after so long really great animation and vfx and based on a realistic storyline u can really live the charecters by watching this. great movie❤

@@kashyap4245 Man it's a myth with no historical or archeological evidences. The "Vikramaditya empire" has NO evidence in history. This is based on some myths and legends, not history. The Gupta emperor Chandragupta II aka Vikramaditya (4th - 5th century CE) was an emperor who ruled a large part of Indian subcontinent (not Southern India but areas like Afghanistan, etc). But it wasn't big as said here. And also, it wasn't Vikramaditya but Emperor Ashoka the Great did the greatest expansion in the history of India.

Meghnad is good, but we have more powerfull yoddhas, like Raghu, Ikshvaku, Yuyutsu, Bhishm, Karn, Arjuna, Vikramaditya 1 and 2, Bheem, and so many other is ancient world and mediaval period, including Puru, Chandragupt, Bindusaar, Asoka, Pulkesin, Prithviraj, Maharana Pratap etc. and even we have so many female warriors who were ever inspiring..and had the real presence on earth, rather than Marvel comics characters/

saipratk kadam hi brother, very good insight from you. To be frank, most people in the world may not know the face that every ancient religion up to modern society we are worshipping the Devas. A very good example is Indra Dev, he is worshipped as Jade Emperor in ancient China, Lord Zeus/ Jupiter in ancinet Greece and Roman respectively, Thor in Norse mythology. And if you notice, the modern society now is being enslaved by the Asuras, most humans have lost their devotion to the Devas and they tend to use their false "science" to disprove Devas, I am engineer by profession and I can testify that the more I learn about science, the more I can prove Devas exists. Asuras are illusionists.

Meghnad or Indrajeet is the most underrated character in Hindu mythology. He never faced defeat in his life..he defeated Indra after Indra defeated Raavan, he captured Hanuman though even though Hanuman vowed down to Brahmastra due to respect but whatever it's,the truth is that the only time Hanuman was captured,it was by Indrajeet, he almost killed Lord Ram and Lakshmana by using Nagapasha, again almost killed Lakshmana but saved by Hanuman. He was not evil as his father Raavan and unlike like his evil father,he only loved and remained faithful to his wife, never remember if he did any sin except supporting his evil father Raavan. He is the only athimaharithi in Hindu mythology which means powerful than all the characters of Ramayan and Mahabharat combined but he never got his due. He was a good person in the bad side just like Karna but unlike Karna he never insulted any women or was envy of anyone. His only adharma was supporting his father who did a great sin by abducting a woman but he tried to make his Father understand that Ram and Lakshmana are not only normal human being and return Maa Sita but Raaven insulted him and then he went for the final battle even after knowing that he will die

This was absolutely brilliant. The direction and action sequences were very well done. Not only it told the story well from the Asura's point of view but you mixed mythology with sci fi with Brahma arriving in a space ship shaped like a lotus and Meghanath being able to teleport. It gave a more modern feel to the entire story. I want to see more like this. Kudos to Thought Cloud Studio.
india needs the talented animators like this as 3d modeler and animator i can see the hard bheind this animation and voice acting and also the detailng the camera movements are mind blowing man
This is just a mythology..and not even shive is god of gods.. According to shiv purana shiv is supereme but according to vishnu purana vishnu is supereme and like wise according to devi purana shakti is supereme.. But if we read geeta and shrimad bhagwattam we come to know that krishna is the ultimate source of brahma vishnu and mahesha.. But The truth is in vedas which explains that shiv brahma and vishnu are the traits of the almighty..and the puranas are just stories ..

For kind of your information according to our history of Ramayan , " after the birth Meghnad was not crying but he was laughing like clouds sound so he named as Meghnad Megh means cloud and Nad means roaring.
ur version is also wrong.. he did tapsya of nikumbhala devi she gave him devine chariot and divyastra from sitting on that mysterious devine chariot he can travel into clouds and its invisible and then he start attacking from clouds by stayed hidden thats why he called megh naad pada.. kyuki clouds me chipkar attack hone se clouds me bhaynkar sound hota tha thats why..

Indrajit was a honourable and a fesious warrior, even Lord Rama praised him after his death. The battle between Lord Laxman and Indrajit was truely a mahasangram.

Even this animated film presented the Golden, enriched Lanka in more beautiful way than Adipurush movie, which had a bigger budget!! And it also presented Indrajeet in more regal way.

For those who are saying that it's a mythology, this is for you. A myth is called a myth because its origin is unknown; this is why some call it a myth since they don't have any physical evidence or haven't done any research on it. But for us, it is a history and the physical proof of Ramayana and Mahabharat is things like Radha-Krishna Kund, big footprint of God Hanuman, Ram setu etc.
In terms of animation, it is satisfactory. The art style, music, and dubbing are really good. In terms of storyline, it is incomplete as they don't show that the Asuras were defeated and all of them had to leave the battlefield then the Asuras attacked again and Ravana was captured by Indra then again they were beaten by Indra so Megnath had to leave the battlefield. Finally, on the 3rd time, Megnath was able to free Ravana and he finally defeated Indra and captured him. Even the character of Indra is showed arrogant but in reality he has pride.
The appearance of Indrajeet was legendary, and the choosing of English words as a replacement of Hindi/Sanskrit words are also great👍🙏and ofcourse animation is too good🔥❤️ And one thing, Indra is the King of the Gods, But the God of Gods is our Lord Shiva 🙏
The underrated character in ramayana..Meganath defeated ram and laxman single handedly twice and even though he know he's gonna die on fourth day he fought bravely.... The day before his last battle Meganathan told Ravanan that one Ravanan can create thousand Meganathan but not even a God can create another Ravanan.. Throughout his life he loved and respected his father more than anyone...

Its really not mythology actually. If wright brothers can put together a basic flying plane... then I am sure our culture of 5000 years old had much more advanced flying tech. Most of whats available todays science and tech is stolen from us. Including electricity, battery and even powerful chemical comp bombs.
