Blues is the Foundation for Rock, Rap and R&B. Also, us Black people did pretty much innovate and inspire at least 90% of today's musical genres. Robert Johnson inspired Rock and blues, Chuck Berry, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, and James Brown influenced Rap. All Black people.
