This physics video tutorial focuses on inductors. it explains what they are and how they work. Inductors can store energy by the expansion of the magnetic field it creates as the electric current flowing through the inductor increases. As the current decreases, the magnetic field collapses returning the stored energy back into the circuit. Inductors can be used to make electromagnets and transformers. You can also use them to induce a current using a magnet in a process known as electromagnetic induction.

Overall a great video that explains things very well; however I think at 4:10 that he means to say batteries in parallel, he simply misspoke.

Could u add more videos on Inductor to explain how the back emf kicks in and used to resist change in current?

Very good video I was wondering can you do an update video on inductors when you connect one inductor step the power up and then another inductor as though they put in inverters or tigrid inverters what's Willie going on when you step up the power how many watts and then if you step it up again how many watts and again until you can't do it anymore which if you look at some of these 5,000 to 7,000 Watt inverters doesn't seem that they have a limit maybe that's because they put a butt converter in conjunction with the boost converter you tell us

5:55 Alternating current only changes the direction, not on and off, then why the bulb goes on and off. The Current is still going through the bulb through the two circuits. Could u clarify this confusion? Thanks

Hey, for the batteries you said series but drew in parallel. Could you clarify this?
@iqbalmahmudmoon3965

Maybe a minor mistake..in series the net electromotive force of batteries become nE. Where E is the electromotive force of one cell.. But in parallal the net electromotive force remain the same of one battery...

Alternators use inductor coil to convert mechanical energy from the car engine shaft into AC to charge the car battery?

Adding batteries in parallel to increase current not in series.

2:44 U = 1/2 L Isquared formula is similar to KE = 1/2 m v squared Why? Looks like KE but U is PE?
