Em actually did a guest spot on Jessie Reyez' song Coffin. i love this song, and Coffin. i believe you are right on about the song being about the game. the game kills him then crawls in the grave with him. i had some feelings about seeing Em killed and buried too.

So glad you got the video! It's nasty, and lovely and cool and YES, you also liked my favorite bar (the 2by4 and 8by10-one) I always picture a picture-frame when I listen to that, or a window (since that's the moment they fall through the window-frame) And I'm sure the video is about hiphop (or the music-industry), and that he feels like it will kill him and when he's gone, they'll all come crying about how amazing he was. But the song without the video could just as well be about a toxic relationship between two people, and that's what makes it so good! Because so many people will be able to relate to the people vs people-meaning, and even they will love it. It's my favorite song from Kamikaze, followed closely by Venom (and then Fall).

Great reaction as always Cliff ! Your work rate is next level - same as your breakdowns! I’m the same when there’s a music video - I get really distracted! Don’t be too hard on yourself with your older B Sides reactions - they’re still miles better than a lot of other reactions I’ve seen! Those are the reactions I subbed from! Lol! Although I do think the growth from then until now is huge - you seem much more confident on front of the camera now and your breakdowns have become more in depth - which I love! I’m sorry to hear you were unwell during this time. Revisiting the B Sides would be a great shout!!! I know you’ve said you’re not in this for the money, but every time I watch one of your breakdowns I always feel like you should have a patreon (or something). It doesn’t need to be a lot of money, even just to give people the option of spending a few $$ a month, like buying you a beer or something each month. I feel like you give so much of yourself to us, that there are people who’d like to do the same for you. It’s quality content and entertainment that you’re putting out and giving up so much of your free time - at least think about it? If you’re not comfortable with a ‘donation’ situation, you could always do a trade off, e.g. each patreon at a certain level could get reaction request of their choice? Anyway, apologies for the long-ass comment - I’ll get my coat!!!

Great reaction - hope you’re not coming down with something Cliff with the tingling etc! Look after yourself please and take it easy if you need to, your health is more important! That being said, I’d love to see you react to Logic and Em’s track ‘Homicide’ if you haven’t already? I don’t think I’ve seen it on your channel before, but your work rate is crazy so I might have missed it!? The music video is hilarious too - I won’t spoil it though! I’d also love to see you dive into Twenty one pilots, their talent is seriously next level, especially for being just 2 guys! They make their own beats, the singer/rapper Tyler also plays all the instruments and writes the music and lyrics. You already reacted to Lane Boy so it’d be great to see some others, probs best starting with their older music as the later albums do contain quite a bit of ‘lore’ and are concept albums. The songs still stand up really well on their own too though. Couple of suggestions would be Ode to Sleep (official music video is a must for this one, shows their ‘come up’), Holding On To You (also a great music video - and the live version is also outstanding, deep message), Migraine is also amazing with some awesome writing! Level of Concern is a really fun track - although it was made at the start of lockdown so does reference the virus! You can’t really go wrong with them though - there are no bad tracks!

Nice! I actually haven't seen this music video yet lol. I checked what's left from this album and it seems like there are 2 more songs: Normal and Nice Guy. There are 2 skits as well but they are pretty short and not special, just a bit funny. Since you asked if a song was sampled here, I looked it up. I checked in the booklet for Kamikaze and yeah it says this: "Contains excerpts from Glassy Sky produced by Yutaka Yamada..." I looked it up and it seems like it's a song from the anime Tokyo Ghould, though I don't hear it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vvvvcpwFw5o.html I'm an anime fan too, but I have never watched Tokyo Ghould so I don't know anything about it :D

There's nothing else in the entire song that references or even hints at hip hop at all. There are no set ups or any kind of indication towards a double

I’d bet every penny I have that if I was able to ask Em the inspiration behind this song he would say hip hop. He does this all the time. You’re talking to someone who writes for a living boss. I’m not just making this up for my own benefit. Just think about the line “when you date my friends”. And this video taking place in “The house of hip hop”. He murdered the game and it came back to murder Eminem. Now it’s shady. This is the way a top tier artist thinks.

You know look at me I am not white, what I say about rap being black music, music is a culture and yes I understand that Black Culture came up with this genre of music that is the number one jondra right now but I do not understand why music is only for black people that doesn't make any sense to me music is instruments a sound whether it be Rock whether it be country anyting it's a sound how can black people say that they own a sound if that makes sense to you oh, I know it originated with black people but why can't it just be for everyone. Eminem absolutely broaden The Horizon and brought kids to Hip Hop that probably would have never even got into it, plus do you remember the Beastie Boys they were three Jewish kids from Brooklyn and they were right there next to Run DMC so I'm just confused about that.
