Why the Hell would you even accept a risk that large in relation to your budget? Depending on the stock a 3% daily move is normal. You have no defense mechanism available - no time to even sell an option against your position and get it closed, assuming you even get filled with this kind of volume. And in order to unload you would have to have a willing counterparty with enough funds to interact with you. Really seems like lunacy to me.
Yeah it's crazy but the part that's really not realistic is that they don't have a firm lead order. That would never happen. And it wouldn't be on rishi's desk but on a specialist equity desk
