Same here. Kinda sad seeing him not getting another chance.

Well to be fair, Darian's definition of a racing bust is different from say, Ryan Holman. He's got higher standards.

He DOMINATED IndyLights....I really can't believe he didn't get another chance. I know some people said thats how Indycar works, but with his high pedigree, I find it unbelievable.

That kind of glosses over the fact that his management said the team didn't care about his health but how can they care about his health when they're actively lying about his health.

​@Matt Goelz Ferrucci didn't deserve any chances at all. After the stuff he pulled in F2 he should've never been allowed in or near motorsport for the rest of his life.

@@samhobbs6517 Didn't say whether or not he deserved it, I'm just saying he's an example of someone who got a second chance. And we all do stupid stuff, seems to me like he's learned and matured a little bit after the F2 incidents

People say Red Bull is the F1 career killer. I'd say Mclaren fit that more They killed Vandoorne's career (yes yes, might be his fault but considering Alonso, being as close as he was he's pretty good) almost ruining Kmag's career, and to an extent, Checo's as well.

I'm not sure WTF happened with Carlos. He was second in the 500 and maybe in the Freedom 100 in the same weekend. I was expecting a championship from him. But with one win, he's in good company with Danics & Charlie Kimball.

Veach was bad but Milka Duno was her own level of bad. Id say Veach was better than the likes of Kellett and DeFrancesco.

@Kyle86910 Veach is more accomplished in his career. Veach has multiple Indy Lights wins...DeFrancesco never came close to winning anything in that series. Plus Veach has a few top 5s in IndyCar. Id be shocked if DeFrancesco ever sniffed the top 5 in his career. The best joke of the week is when DeFrancesco got launched one prominent RU-vid creator proclaimed "he's reached the height of his IndyCar career"

Isn't that the scrap heap from which Rosenqvist was plucked? He'd have been victorious without Scott Dixon as a teammate. Chip wouldn't let him race. I want him to continue to improve to show the Europeans they missed one with their 20 car F1 grid.

He drove for Andretti in FE last year and had 1 top 10. His teammate Jake Dennis finished 2nd in points.

@IanPerez2000 Yes, but all of Ericsson’s Indycar wins has more or less been handed to him. Ericsson survived the demo derby in Nashville 21 and he got his first win because of midtakes done by Power. And the circumstances was about the same when Ericsson took his second win in Detroit 2021. And Ericsson would not have won the 500 last year if Dixon and/or Palou had stayed out of trouble, Ganassi had the fastest cars during the whole month, but it was either Dixon or Palou who were fastest during practice and qualifying, Dixon dominated the 500 until he got the speeding penalty, and he would almost certainly have won the race if it wasn’t for that incident. And Palou was well ahead of Ericsson until he had luck with his last pitstop at Indy. And in todays race Ericsson took the win because of the mishap between Grosjean and McLaughlin, and the fact that Pato ran into trouble right at the end of the race. In short, there’s always been more luck than skill involved when Ericsson wins a race. And Ericsson was totally useless in F1, he was outperformed by all the teammates he had in F1 (Kobayashi, Lotterer, Nasr, Wehrlein and Leclerc).

And Charlie Kimball, while he won the same number of races as Danica, he seemed to be in the way more than he was near the front. Veach was a good wheel man in Indy Lights as well, seemingly always top five, but never could get near the front in Indycar.
