INEOS Automotive has officially opened its Sub-Saharan Africa headquarters in the famous Victoria & Alfred (V&A) Waterfront complex in Cape Town, South Africa.
A centrepiece of the recently renovated ‘Pier District’ of the V&A Waterfront, the INEOS Automotive site includes a flagship SMG dealership and 4x4 track along the seafront for customers to test drive the Grenadier, with the iconic Table Mountain as a backdrop.

Lynn Calder, CEO INEOS Automotive, said: “This is the ideal location for our SSA headquarters as it perfectly captures the brand’s spirit of adventure. The test track really highlights the vehicle’s capability. It’s an epic experience and a bit surreal, because on one side you have an incredible view of Table Mountain and on the other it’s just open ocean.”

Having owned a 2018 w463 G WAGON I can tell you that now 6 months into ownership of my Grenadier it’s surpasses the G wagon and is less than half the cost. On road steering and suspension is light years ahead of the G Wagon (w463 model). I’m getting consistently over 25mpg , struggled to ever get the G wagon over 20mpg. Don’t forget this car was conceived at the home of the GW , Magna Styer in Austria, this is the G wagon that never was, better still it’s built by robots so quality far exceeds the GW. I say , don’t knock it until you try it ! Thanks Sir Jim, now go give surface mounted hydrogen fuel tanks to all the major fuel stations across Europe and roll out your Hydrogen Grenadier. You will clean up 😉😂😉😂 and you’ll make fortunes supplying the fuel from your world leading chemical business . 👏👏👏
