Except in its base configuration with a lockers it’s not anymore expensive than a Chevy ZR2 the only other vehicle that comes with front and rear lockers except a Jeep that tops out way higher than the Grenadier and of course the fact that explorers and serious off-roaders have taken quite a liking to the Grenadier. See Expedition Portal travels across Africa and Ronny Dahl’s ongoing Grenadier series from Australia. So basically you don’t know what you are talking about and have no response to my comment that a broad appeal is necessary for a competent vehicle like the Grenadier to be profitable and therefore built at all.
Nice review! How did the engine perform in the Alps? I live at an elevation of about 2500m and my Grand Cherokee V6 has a noticeable power drop compared to near sea levels.
As per usual this company is doing exactly what I hoped they wouldn't do. Please Ineos, we want a simple, tough and reliable 4x4. Guess that's why there's a 4 year waiting list for the 70 series Land Cruiser.
