Whenever I come across the porters, I always feel that I find new friends even I drive pass them, I slow down to avoid run them over.. but to kill them? I don't think I can
Weapons are not insta kill. In this case, my man didn't double tap the porter thus caused the voidout. Lots of reports from other players that they did manage to kill other porters preventing a voidout in a BT area.
@CMDR Dragovich23 Exactly, in the second long cutscene the guy shot the driver to avoid the voidout. Maybe the porter in this video was not dead when he got caught.
No, we cremate corpses bcz in 48 hours they create a new timefall-heavy BT zone. Needless to say, a new BT zone near any populated area means a lot of voidouts. A corpse itself doesn't make any voidout, that's why the poor CDT guys at ep1 killed themselves to prevent it.
@@DanielSlva I'm pretty sure it's implied that if you don't take care of the corpse, it will turn into a BT which will catch someone and that causes the voidout. You don't actually get to see it, but that's what happens.
@@3plecheeseburger yes it does, but hey this game has a lot more inconsistencies than this, like being able to rack up 200kg's of goods on your back easily without having to worry about losing your balance, but a 70kg body will suddenly exceed your carrying capacity, giving you painfully hard time moving around.
I mean, it doesn't make sense. At the beggining of the game one of the Corpse Disposal guys is grabbed by some BTs and his partner shoots him and a voidout doesn't happen. It souldn't happen here either
BT's are only interested if you are alive, they leave you alone if you're dead. He was knocked unconcious here (he used the non-lethal gun), you can see the "knocked out" icon on the character.
In the begging of game guy kills his parthner with letal weapon In your situation you've use non-fatal weapon, that's why cause voidout, NPC was still alive but unconscious
He's probably has been shot with non-lethal weapon so the porter isn't dead yet he just knocked out It got some kind of sign/mark whenever the target got immobilize, knocked out(stars sign) or dead(skull sign)
In-game when a live person gets in contact with the insides of a bt, where the anti-matter like substance of death is, it causes a huge explosion. This supposedly doesn't happen to corpses since they aren't alive.
@rellim92O The cutscene at the start of the game show that the bt's aren't interested in dead people when they let go of that guy that gets shot dead. Don't ask me why game play states differently.
