I have this compressor and a few others. I have noticed that the fill times have not been consistent anymore. Takes 30 minutes now to fill instead of the original 20. Beyond that, great! I of course allow it to cool between fills.
@@Light_357 it states in the manual it will fill all pcp at 4500. Most if my pcp rifles are less then 4500 psi and the still take forever to fill. I still use it but mainly only for topping off. It's not terrible for that!
@@thebeardedairgunner of course. The psi isn’t the point the volume being filled is. When you run these small compressors for 15 minutes straight it’s super hard on them.
@@Light_357 I will agree with you on that point absolutely! That's one of the reasons I own multiple compressors. I still love this little guy for topping off!
If you are thinking of regulating your airforce talon. You can get a regulator plenum for it. I think it would work great with your setup. Since your air rifle has a smaller size air tank. The regulator and air plenum will add 4 to 5 inches to the stock. altaros regulator plenum. I just got one but haven't gotten a regulator yet.
I may put a regulator on it in the future but right now with my crony testing it seems to shoot pretty decent from 2200 PSI down and I get about 16 Good shots that are relatively close in speed
Now that I've bought a 4500 PSI SCBA tank and I fill it up with the yong heng compressor I rarely use the little compressor and stick to using the bottle and the bottle last me a long time
There is no maintenance for the most part it comes with a few replacement parts but there's nothing to do to it for the most part and it's been working just fine
The company who makes this one will make it for any company and every company across the world in multiple Styles and we'll paint it multiple colors and put on any name you want.
hey man just got the uramax hammer and a compressor it’s my first pcp gun and i just wanted to make sure i know everything i need to know where can i find parts 1 and 2
I have the airforce condor with the same tank and just purchased this compressor and am having trouble filling the tank. What adapter did you use on the foster fitting?
Please describe your problem more. And the Airforce Condor can come with lots of different air tanks my Talon came with a very short aluminum 3,000 PSI tank.
That's a good question! It really depends on the individual air-gunner some only need to fill an air gun every once in awhile ......so they can get away with just using a small air compressor ........ or an individual wants an air compressor so they can fill their air gun out why they're out hunting. This little portable when does it. But then some individuals need an air compressor to fill up their big SCBA bottles and need a compressor to handle those duties so basically comes down to it depends on what you need everybody's different.
@@gumbystown Maybe a review of the best small unit and the best heavy duty unit is in order for rookies like me. I just want to shoot and not be tethered to my local dive shop, which seems to be limited to 3500 psi.
These are pretty much maintenance-free they do come with an o-ring kit to "rebuild" it ......I've had no problems with mine and I've had it for almost a year.
@@gumbystown how many hours would you say you’ve ran it? I was considering the umarex portable compressor but a lot of people were reporting it had to be rebuilt much sooner than the advertised 20 hours.
@@skyungjae I don't know it would take me quite a while..... to calculate how many hours it has on it. I do keep a log of how many times I fill up each air gun but that would take me a long time to figure out the times and everything. I can tell you I'm probably getting close to the 20-hour mark I really wanted to test out if it could fill up a SCBA bottle and it was like 6-1/2 hours it was agonizingly a torture test..... it did it but I highly recommend NOT doing that. It still runs I still use it I don't use it that much anymore cuz I now have a young hang and it fills up my SCBA bottles lickety-split but it's a pain to set up so sometimes I use the little portable one it's hooked up and ready to go.
just don't get the Tuxing brand. Get the Spitech or Vaylor brand and you will be all good. The tuxing brand only lasted 8 fills and the pump gears exploded.
Mine has been doing great! The only thing that I have had an issue is the detachable power cord it was getting warm/hot. I contacted R&L airguns Supply they sent me out a replacement but I felt that it just needed a heavier-duty cord so I ordered a 15 amp cord off of eBay/Amazon and Wallah no problems doesn't even change temperatures works perfect. PS I should have ordered one longer than 3 feet though.
@@gumbystown Shorter is better, the longer the cord, more resistance/heat. I'm just looking at one of these, my compressor just bit it. A yong heng..clone?, or unlabeled, blew the breaker, so it shut down pressurised, now wont fire up proper. Your unit still good?
I don't know exactly which adapter you're talkin about but if you're talking about the blue one that is what airgunners call a cigarette style air filter and those can be ordered off of Amazon or Ebay. Thanks for watching I hope that answers your question
Yes, it will fill from 0 it will just take longer. You shouldn't let your air rifle gully discharge always want to keep at least 1000 psi so the seals don't shrink.
And on a side note I will be doing a air compressor comparison because I have a yong heng and I have this little orange compressor just to give everybody an idea of the differences and advantages to each.
I bought one, it died on the second use in less than a week of ownership. They offered me parts and then offered me 1/4 refund. I asked multiple times for a full refund and or exchange or upgrade. Nothing. Do not buy if you value reliability and your hard earned money. Still dealing with Vevor support. Would not buy from this company ever again. Very disappointing.
@@josephellis5973 sometimes you get bad ones you got to remember to buy from respectable sellers ones that stand behind their product depending on where you bought it you could probably still get it warrantied about it from Amazon they'll probably cover you if you bought it from eBay you'll probably have eBay protection
I've actually tried that and it can be done! With that being said I would not do it again! I might top off the bottle but I would never do a full fill again from empty it is ridiculously agonizingly a long time. I recently purchased a Yong Heng compressor to have both and I will be doing a unboxing and review and probably a video on filling up the 45min-SCBA bottle.
@@carlosreyes6448 if it's a small bottle it probably wouldn't be a horrible experience! And it's not so much the pressure that was a problem as it was the duration mine never got hot it just took hours upon hours. But if you had a tiny little pony bottle it probably would fill it up just fine but I have a big 6.8L bottle.
Relatively fast! But to be honest I no longer use an air compressor to fill my air guns. I now use a yong heng air compressor to fill a SCBA bottle and I've kind of put this one as a backup and portable one . Having an SCBA bottle is awesome.
@@Faithxiii1973 any place that fills up air tanks for scuba diving some fire stations will help you maybe place's that fills up paintball guns..... I've never went anywhere I've only filled up my own
@@gumbystown thank you for your quick response!!! I’m actually looking to purchase an AIR VENTURI 74 cu inch tank from airgun depot! Currently I have the VEVOR Compressor very similar to your compressor
@@gumbystown one more question should I order my tank and I’m ready to go somewhere to have it filled would I need additional fittings to bring with me to the dive shop or would they be able to fill my tank
Well it puts out pure air but ALL compressors can develop moisture when compressing air and develop moisture that's the reason I use three filters two cotton and one molecular sieve.
@@johnimperial9777 yes this was when the air compressor was brand new just got out of the box a couple days earlier and was just starting to use it since then I have upgraded two more filters and I even have another compressor to fill bottles with
@@johnimperial9777 John I got a video uploading right now that may answer these questions for you watch it and if it doesn't answer your questions come back and I will try to clarify
I can answer that question about 3 months filling one bottle gun gears on motor are sheared right off 100 bucks plus shipping for a new motor. I would advise anyone looking to look else where.
@@acemechanical275 I sent the seller a video of the new warrior running after the damage occured. This is before I took it apart he sent me a new mother board. Unfortunately this was not the issue. Once I seen the damage and spoke to another individual that had the same thing happen, I decided I wouldn't even waist the time replacing parts on it
As far as I can tell yes the same from topa. I upgraded the power cable to a higher amperage because the other one was getting warm/hot got it off eBay for like $6 other than that it's been great.
