My best guess is that delsin was born a conduit with the ability to copy other conduit abilities, but he never realised it until he encountered a conduit and copied the ability, the only other symptom that would prove this is how physically gifted he was he shows remarkable speed and strength which is a consistent ability among conduits but that’s just my best guess,
Nice guess (not trying to be rude btw) but no one is born a conduit but kinda like X-Men there is a conduit gene so u get your powers from absorbing Ray Sphere energy the energy was on Hank along with his powers and Delsin realized he had power copying abilities through skin on skin contact he was actually based on Rouge from X-Men who has the same power

If your a guy your born with a thing hanging but if your a girl you don't have one. He was born with the ability to do whatever others can do. He was always around normal people witch means that he never had a chance to change. He was in a loving tribe so he was never bullied to be pushed to hurting others. In reality he was born like that just never knew
The one question i have about his copying abilities is whenever he copies another conduits powers in the begining he is only able to absorb a source of that element is he strictly limited to depending on a blast core to get a new ability of that power or does he have to train his power like with most prime conduits
Delsin isnt a smoke/neon/video/concrete conduit. Delsin is an energy conduit, he absorbs the energy of things around him, including prime conduit powers
So does he has his own element? Like some kind if pure energy or something? You know when he used relays he glowed in a color/energy not related to any of the powers obtained in the game
Delsin was a conduit already he's the only conduit who can get other conduits power plus his power in the beginning was to asorb other conduits powers and absord core relays to get more power for the power
The whole game could have been avoided if Delsin kept his mouth shut. She thought Delsin was just a coward or scared of the situation like most people would. But him speaking out like that indicates that his scared because he was just lying to her.

Now this game is awesome and all but I gotta hand the title of my favorite moment to 7:24 Brotherly love. Didn’t even care that his brother is suddenly a conduit or how he’s arrested him repeatedly beforehand. He just cared for his safety
A conduit has the power to control, manipulate, and absorb a single form of matter or energy. Ex: Cole McGrath who was an electric conduit. Had the power to absorb electricity, control it, and manipulate it. This also gave him an extremely high bioelectric current, hence why he can't go into water, and no one can be in water around him. Delsin is not a conduit, but rather a new evolution, or maybe a branch from that genetic line. He is, in terms a compiler not a conduit. He has the power to gather the powers of others, and then use them individually as if they were his own.
Interesting line of thought. I feel like there is still a lot more to explore around the conduits in more detail if we should ever get another Infamous game.
Eh. Not really. None of the conduits he comes in contact with lose their power nor have their power weakened. Delsin takes nothing from them except a copy of their powers, strengths and weaknesses in tangent with the elements of those powers. The reason why he defeats the people who he touches, is because he's a completely different person than the original. In short he has a different mental fortitude, which is why he can defeat the people who hold those powers with their own powers.
According to the games he's fine with "at worst" waist high water levels, and if the water in question is distilled (pure) water which has absolutely no conductivity what so ever, then he should be fine.
Hoping that everybody knows that Delsin doesn't have just three powers his own power is a lot better than you think he has the power of mimicry but some people already know that
I never noticed till now but the facial graphics are awesome and so are the way the characters move whilst talking its like they are real people with something to say

Del has to be the most powerful conduit ever. he may have the lesser powers of the conduits he drained but with time and learning he could essentially be god
@Pxer delsin was like 24 Ish or so and there any so many conduits with a huge variety of powers so it's unlikely that there's a conduit with the same power and has knowledge of its existence
@Pxer your right about some having a similar power but having the same power is still unlikely and if you search up conduit powers you'll see that there are a huge amount so Yes there might be a similar power it's unlikely that the Exact same power as delsin Edit the list is still huge but I bet that it a extremely small percentage because it's only showing the powers we know of
@Pxer if there 2 percent of the human population are conduits so much of them don't even know that they are and there a many different types of the same power like pryokinesis for example. A different version of pryokinesis is smoke which is extremely similar they are technically a different power so if there is a conduit with the same power as delsin it probably has a twist on it or they might not even know Delsins power is power abobsaiton there might be a conduit which has force abobsaiton similar but different . I'm not trying to say it's impossible but in my own opinion it's Unlikely there is a conduit with the exact same power as him

Cole got his powers early through the Ray Sphere, a device meant to awaken a conduits powers early. Delsin is a conduit that got his naturally. If anything, Cole would have gotten his powers naturally as well.
I have some theories about how Delsin got his powers and what his original power might be. One theory is that Delsin's conduit genes activated when he grabbed Hank's arm to save Reggie. Another theory is that his conduit genes activated and didn't know until he grabbed Hank's arm. Another theory is that his original power is power absorption, judging from the way he got his powers after he grabbed Hank's arm and how he drained the core relays.
The thing that most of you tend to miss is that delson was a conduit before the smoke powers. His power was to absorb other powers. Think about the part where he was escaping to the longhouse when you were using him it felt like he already had powers. Even when he fell there was a sort of smash effect.
One thing I don't like is how quick delson adapts to his ability. He goes from "I'm one of them" to "I wouldn't be able to get to you without thoes tricks" in about a minute or so. I wish he more hesitant but started to adapt as the game went on. Just seems to weird that he was shaken by it but got over it so soon.
Maybe it's cause I've watched Heroes too many times, but Delsin's ability immediately came off to me as an Empath. He doesn't just get their ability, he telekinetically gets their story (Hank makes specific not of this), when/how they became a conduit and got the abilities. He connects to them emotionally, which exhausts and basically knocks both parties out. I don't think it works quite the same way as Peter Petrelli, but it always gave me that vibe xD He establishes an emotional connection/psychic link, that's why he has to touch them, and then he can use their powers.
Either that or they were already activate but as he lived in a closed off community there weren't any other conduits to pull from. A sponge is just a brick if it isn't placed in water.
Delsin is like a absorbing conduit he can like absorb other people powers control them and manipulate them its basically like he manipulates their mind to get part of there powers which also makes him gets there memories

ZOMBIEKING02 i have a theory that his ability is to absorb blast core energy/radiation and since conduits got their powers from blast core energy thats how hes able to absorb other people powers. Which also explain why everytime he absorbs blast core energy in the game he becomes more powerful
@@cumfondue no delsin is a prime conduit it says so in the game at the bridge check point. His power is that he can copy and use other conduit's powers. This makes him one of the strongest conduits in existence. In the evil ending he literally goes to Corden cape and aborbs all the inmates powers.
i love this i feel a lot of us would love it if we found out we had powers but in this world these with them are seen as bad and evil so finding out you are one of the so called bad guys would be scary
I don’t get what’s about it is hard to understand, all conduit’s manipulate and weaponize a unique form of matter or electricity and Delsins unique power is to absorb that energy or matter from any conduit he comes into physical contact with and he can quickly gain some mastery over those new powers with core relays and improve them with blast shards. He’s a power sponge he can pretty much have any power he wants as long as it comes from a prime conduit, which gives him the potential to be the most powerful conduit ever seen
That police woman deserves the bad ending considering she's dragging in innocent people and not leaning the other way when someone clearly displays the morals of caring for others than themselves. Though you picked sacrifice the tribe.
