There's something about Infdev that gives it a lot of charm, in my opinion. There's many versions of Minecraft that have their own fair share of charm and elegance to them, but to me, Infdev is probably the one that gets my attention the most, even more so than the 1.0 release of which I grew up with.
I know what you mean, the simplicity of it, no hunger, no enchanting, no other dimentions, just you and your grassy spawn, in a world of sand, gravel and dirt
if anyone here plays infdev, know that you can mine mob spawners and keep them in your inventory. it works until early alpha if you place it back, it will be a pig spawner. I am currently farming them in my world before updating version
This video is like a time capsule. You communicate like its 2010 and infdev has just been released and you treat the audience like they were new players at the time. Hahahahaha love this!
On the topic of glitches, i think you missed a couple important ones specific to some versions (though, they're only relevant if going through Infdev version by version) - In the first version of Infdev that can save (0327), each time you save and load the world, it regenerates trees and ore. To regenerate ore, you need to put stone where the ore was, and it will convert to ore on reload. - In the first few versions, there was no bedrock, instead there was an infinite lava sea at the bottom of the world. It remains like so for some time even after the addition of buckets, allowing to take lava from it. Also in early versions, if you place sand directly above lava at any height, it will place lava instead and this lava will not flow. - Water doesn't flow in the first few versions, allowing to create stationary floating water sources that can remain like so indefinitely. - Water and lava can exist next to each other in early infdev for a short while after buckets get added. - In the version that added spawners, it is possible to mine them and get the block. (And yes, dungeons were added in late infdev and not in alpha)
Very Informative video , I already know how to play minecraft , and personally I prefer minecraft beta (the pig is my favorite mob and most likely the most useful) , generally very high quality ,I am impressed , keep up the great work and have a good day !
You are the reason I found out that "mob" was short for "mobile"... That makes so much sense I don't know how I was so naive for so long! Amazing video btw 💯
I have almost finished the 1.1 video, when you say old versions do you mean before the current release or before 1.0, thanks for clicking the subscribe button
You technically missed one. If you mine a furnace when it’s cooking something it’ll instead drop a lit furnace. I’m playing through infdev right now and I used them as makeshift torches until I found coal for real torches.
thankyou, that is a good use for them, I mentioned it in the Minecraft alpha video, but if there is anything else I missed please let me know, at some point I want to do a pinned comment or edit the description of these videos with things I have missed
XD im pretty sure i bought the game for 2.79 USD back in the day, it was like that, played on free versions but wasnt worth not having automatic updating
is there anything possible to craft like and redstone is it possible? well this guide answered almost all welll wood coal is my question also is it possible to make colors? if they are what they were used with
@@eclipsingdragon Nothing in particular because i’m also trying to make a block collection too so a recipie book would help p.s grats on 500 subs i was your 489
The animals spawn the same way hostel mobs do with the difference being light levels, so if you it everything up then you would get all animals and no hostel mobs, also the spawning time is long, so in a minecraft day you might only get 3 mobs spawning, and all mobs Despawn so there is no point making a mob farm
Hey eclipse how did you get your skin to work in infdev versions of Minecraft or any old version for that matter just curious since I would like to do the same to my account
Short story: texture pack, or use BetaCraft launcher betacraft.uk/ Long story: for my infdev skin I used the steve skin then updated to alpha using a modified more rugged steve skin as texture packs were intoduced, but they didnt have the outerlayer of skin that was intoduced till 1.8, thats where Beta craft comes in as I could use beta craft to have the outerlayer of the skin, like in the into where I am using my final (current day) skin, downside to texture packs is they dont work in infdev ans dont have the outerlayer compatability, downside to betacraft launcher is it doesnt automatically update, so if you changed your skin it may take 2weeks+ to update.
@@axog9776 the version that is in the mincraft java launcher, I cant remember it off the top of my head, but you can also use beta craft for other versions
