Almosy all scp fronts have the acronym SCP (kinda lazy but whatever) but there are plenty of other groups in the universe and not all are cataloged by the SCP foundation

The foundation doesn't always have the resources to investigate every single paranormal occurrence so the ones that don't seem to dangerous (forgot the class system) or the repeats that arent too dangerous they outsource. (I legit just made all that up but hoping it prompts someone to make a story conecting the two)

Mm, just in case people don't know, the second story is based on (well copied tbh lel) an old finnish myth called a "Metsänpeitto", rougly translated into "forest blanket" or "blanket of the forest". The myth says that a metsänpeitto is a part of the domain of elves/goblins, not meant for humans to intrude on which could explain the dark and huge beast even though traditional finnish elves and goblins are either invisible or really small. It is also said that when you're in a metsänpeitto, no-one can find you unless they use a trick or a spell such as turning their clothing inside out or looking through a branch twisted into a circle, like a spyglass. That's probably why the dog was never found, as you might not ever get out of a metsänpeitto unless you know a trick or a spell do to so. (If you're lucky, you could just get out in time even if you don't know anything) While all the unfamiliar environments, dark and twisted forests presented in the story are typical to a metsänpeitto, something like just getting paralyzed for hours is also a possibility. "Coincidentally", Ari is a finnish name and it looks like the word "Metsänpeitto" is even used at 22:10 so I think we really do have someone who knows their folklore ;)

MUST READ! Long time listener first time making a comment. First I want to say you MCP are hands down the best narrator I have ever heard. You're ability to embody so many different characters and convince me your a totally different person in every story even though I've listened to hundreds of your narrations is amazing. That isn't why I'm commenting though. The other narrator in this is soon bad I had to comment. First I had to take out my headphones because the whistle in his voice made my ears bleed. Its like he is touching the Mic to his lips. Another thing is it seems like he is trying so hard to have an original sound or tone that it's completely unbelievable....no one communicates like that. On top of it all he can't narrate without clearing hearing that he is reading it. Sounds like he is reading a script not narrating a conversation. Anyhow its my opinion, but just so bad I had to pause just to make my first time comment at 3 a.m. lol. Love the series and ill tough through it, but wow. Sad when your 2-4 word parts are better and more involving than his entire conversation.
