God I hate these. "Gold standard" "Most accurate" "Most appropriate next step" I feel that gold standard just means the mos accurate test that is done from time to time. For example, biopsy is the most accurate test for diagnosing Alzheimer's disease, but the gold standard is the mini mental exam. What do you think?
