I just really wish there was a transformation inbetween standard Nemesis and Doggo Nemesis. Mainly because Shirtless tentacle nemesis is my favourite of his original forms.

That final boss... bawks face when he taps into total focus and ramps his accuracy and speed to 110% that makes a good gamer I remember taking me two hours to get the tunnel for my inferno run. Granted I had no coins

Coming back to this video and hearing the way Bawk talks about RE3R here vs the way he talks about it now is hilarious.

re3 remake does difficultly so well. I personally hate in games where higher difficulty just means that the health and damage of enemies is multiplied. The added enemies, enemy variety, changes to ai, changed item spawns and even making save points less common is just amazing to see.

It took me 50 trials in inferno, learning all his basic moves and how to dodge them. After I finally beat Nemesis I was killed by friggin Nicholai lmao. You have 1 sec to shoot him, crazy.

New modes are nice but we need a mercenaries mode back like the original Also, great run man. Cant stop watching all your vids at the moment

Nightmare is my favorite difficulty setting in this game. I think it's just the right amount of challenge, without being disgustingly hard. I'm glad that despite this games shortcomings, I still return to it every now and then for a playthrough. 🗡️

I give you major props for beating this without the use of infinite weapons. I recently S-Ranked this mode, and beat final nemesis after 3 deaths, but I used the infinite rocket launcher to do it. I wouldn't even attempt it the regular way. So I have mad respect for you.

UPDATE: After 56 tries, I finally did it. I finally completed Inferno difficulty. Man it was a headache but I managed to do it. One of the best tricks is to pay attention to Nemesis's arms so you know when he's gonna attack and what move he's gonna use. I also recommend bringing in a lot of health items just in case. The best weapons to use are any handguns (preferably either the Samurai Edge or Burst Pistol) or of course the rocket launcher. Lightning Hawk works too if you stock up on ammo but the kickback can fuck you up sometimes; same goes for the Rai-Den. I do NOT recommend using the shotgun, grenade launcher or assault rifle when fighting Nemesis Stage 3 on Nightmare or Inferno.

I managed to do a complete run on Nightmare without any coins but I did have the infinite pistol. Now I'm playing Inferno with coins and goddamn the zombies really want to grab your ass, would be damn near impossible without the defense coins :D

I agree, side characters are absurdly better than their original game counterparts. Overall characterization of everyone is really good in these remakes

This game is a 7/10 for me. It had lots of cool moments but a lot of disappointments. Story and characters, hell yes, I'm really happy with them all. However, pacing and design wise, this game really misses the ball as a great Resident Evil game. This game feels like a Grand Tour of RE3's best and memorable locations and moments. (That wasn't cut out, the new and expanded areas aren't really that impressive so don't come at me with that point.) Also, imagine everything before the Train wreck being the best part of the game. After the Train, the game becomes a segmented, linear path. Which I find boring. There wasn't enough searching around in huge scale locations. (City and well structured buildings) Just searching in segmented locations e.g Hospital and Nest 2. RE2:Remake does this so much better. (Exploring locations, advancing forward to then coming back to previous locations, it's a really nice cycle feeling. RE3 is just a playable cinematic movie, only going forward.(The city, you do go back to but overall it's super short) Not giving enough time to really flesh out locations and the core aspect of the game, NEMESIS. They really didn't do enough with him. Like I'm glad that we got to fight Nemesis as that dog form with slight differences, twice. (Sarcasm). I wished they had the clock tower fight as a mutated human form of Nemesis. That would've been so much cooler, with his leech arm whipping, getting a hold of you more like in the original. Instead we got a Derek Simmons Cheetah from RE6, twice... Some more salt: RE2:remake has lots of costumes where as this only has the pre-order and the STARS costume which you pay in-game points for. Wow Capcom. Really dropping the ball aren't we? Why are costumes a big deal you may ask? Well, replay-ability. Speaking of replay-ability. The 2 extra modes after completing Hardcore mode, Nightmare and Inferno. Yes, they are more challenging but with the game how it is. I didn't enjoy them. Rather they didn't boost my liking of the whole game. It still is a mess, with both good and bad highlights and enjoyment - like any game. So, yeah. Closing thoughts: Mikhail, Carlos and Tyrell are really fricking cool. Nikolai was so interesting and Jill is a badass. I'm just waiting for the next RE game now. Hopefully RE8 or another remake will not strive too far away from the source material and play it safe like RE2:remake. Which I consider is a 9/10.

On controller,this is way harder because if a zombie grabs your screwed while on keyboard you can get out easier.

Here are the S-Rank requirements for each: Assisted Clear Time - Two hours, thirty minutes Standard Clear Time - Two hours Hardcore Clear Time - One hour, forty-five minutes. Nightmare Clear Time - Two Hours Inferno Clear Time - Two Hours To make S-Rank you also can’t save more than 5 times in a run, so you’ll need to use the auto-save feature to your advantage (unless playing Inferno, then God’s speed). The time shrinks up until Nightmare, where it increases (likely due to the much larger difference in difficulty). It may not seem like much, but enemies are harder to kill and ammo is more limited the harder the difficulty, which will inevitably slow you down.

Hey Bawkbasoup if you want a super tough challenge try doing Inferno mode with no special items, I'm currently in the stage of doing it and it's insane. Nemesis literally 1 hits you no matter what HP, this shit is really hardcore give it a try my dude!

I really enjoyed your play through. I have to admire your skill. I’ve not long started Inferno and after that preliminary section, after getting to that first save point, thought I’d take a long break and watch someone else do it first 😰😂. I’d agree about RE2R vs RE3R. I enjoyed RE2R a lot, but for how repetitive it was. After completing the first round with Leon, I was getting snuggled in for a second play through with Claire, thinking it would be fresh and new....but it was virtually identical...apart from a few minor changes and the orphanage section. RE3R May be short, but I love the variety of locations and monsters. Just wondering, why do you hate pale heads so much? Is it a love/hate thing? They remind me of the Straightjackets from Silent Hill 2.

I'm actually kind of disappointed that the growth chamber is just 6 hunters in Inferno. I would have absolutely *loved it* if a Tyrant broke out instead, and Jill had to fight one without a Rocket Launcher.

Not sure if you know this already but when Jill picks up the radio to talk to Carlos and you can’t do anything you can skip the dialog of them talking.

I'd give this like a 8.5 out of 10. Like Bawk said no costumes and left out some content but for me not a big enough gripe to give a bad score.The graphics music and game play are all amazing though and it does have replay ability. Also with all of the items lots of speed running categories :P

I used the coins, pouches and the ammo crafting tool on standard and still got an S rank. Probably can’t use infinite ammo and other new game plus weapons if going for an S

I completed my first Inferno playthrough with no coins and normal ammo. Took me about 9 hours, but worth it. Hope this guy plays a fair run later on as well.

The final boss Took me a couple of days with all coins and the book and still couldn’t even do it

it’s crazy i perfected the dodge in demo but have not felt comfortable doing it in my first play through up to kendo’s shop i’ve only tried it twice and both times failed against nemesis. i have to incorporate it after watching bawkbasoup dominate this ability, i guess i just been plugging along stopping and shooting like a normal RE playing robot 😂

The coins I find a bit weird. They're negating part of the challenge of the higher difficulty levels. It's kind of like when I wanted to look up some tips on how to beat Inferno, and the guy said to get the infinite rocket launcher. It kind of feels like cheating. But then again, I doubt I'll ever be able to complete Inferno without a little help.

I wander if capcom is going to redo or remake resident evil 4 because if they do you know its gonna kick amazing ass. But they never do it because it already kicks ass. The only thing I don't like about it is the lack of colors in the game.

They really should have just added a new Carlo campaign and could have made it like re2 with an A an B scenario

As far as canon in the remakes work, I think RE2R falls into the same space as RE1 (original and remake), where the canonical story is some ambiguous combination of both characters. Basically, whatever was unique to Leon or Claire's story definitely happened to that particular character, and what wasn't unique happened to one of them but isn't important one way or the other.

Coins give even more defence than bumping it down to nightmare you got 2 shot in nightmare and yet you took 2 hits on inferno and didnt die.

Why dont you use the Samurai Edge? Its a double - triple headshot kill most of the time.

None of the items weapons Etc are considered cheats with infinite on them because there are things you earn by playing a game more than once and earning the shop credits to buy them they want you to use those infinite ammo weapons and stuff to make the s+ rank and to break records for timing.. I read that in Gamer magazine article online.. the weapons and items you unlock with your in game-store shop points are there for that purpose..

I did some research and goggle be saying that you can get an S rank on Inferno Re3 with infinite ammo, so, if u use them, then your good on that.
