Not the most fun experience. Please understand that I have very little knowledge of motors, vehicles, mechanics, etc. I attempt to do things myself and if I reach a point that I'm stumped, I call in help. Not always a good tactic but I do enough research to know if it is within my capabilities or not.
This was a long process for me but hopefully this video speeds up yours and maybe my areas of difficulties will be explained/shown good enough so you don't get stumped.
The unit's directions were not too bad - I just don't know what I'm doing. Videos help me and there were slim pickins on youtube. Most of them were not for my unit.
If I wanted to take the time, I could have run the defrost duct but I spent multiple days in total doing this and luckily nobody is paying me by the hour.
If you have questions, you can ask but I will simply answer with my experience and that might not be the manufacture's recommendation. My unit, my install. The video pretty much shows everything I did...just not the process or it would be a 3 day video.
