During heart, you actually made block by only playing hologram+AFO, meaning one extra card. So you could have theoretically, kept playing until you exhausted every card, including the second AFO, except your combo and one reinforce body and claw for never losing.
Found my problem with this game. After 250 hours and level 10 ascendant Silent :) I mean - I would add several things in order to make it more consistent, but the one thing that has to be changed is - why the hell we don't have "lives" in this? This game is so random yet it tries to be seen as skill intensive. While 50% of your runs are doomed at the get-go. So m.b., just m.b. when I finally found some synergy with my cards and relics do not let me die on drawing all wounds/blocks so I miss one attack to kill that f-n dagger hand? Why on earth would I waste hours of my time to get to a point where I finally can have a chance and - nah, here is some more random bullshit for ya, budd. So at least give me a chance to re-roll the fight - make this shit more consistent. Nah. Skill-based games should not try to be consistent what so ever :D. So. To sum up. Amaz, I enjoy your youtube vids and will continue to watch them. M.b. I should try your streams in order to see bad runs and m.b. learn something (our good runs seem pretty similar though :) ). But I am done with this shit. I hate when people don't value my time like that. And I think at this point I can safely say that - Slay the spire don't value your time. And even when you beat it you don't feel good about it b.c. you had to get so f-n lucky in order to even have a chance. And the only difference between the run where you beat it and not is whether you've drawn one attack or it was all wounds/blocks when fighting that dagger hand dude. edit. And by "lives" I mean restarting the battle with re-shuffled deck when you die. 3 would be a start :D
