Naru doesn't just pump your wizards, it also allows you to go infinite without Battlements Naban plus a blink spell plus Naru lets you put infinite copies of the blink spell on the stack and then you can target pyromancer with all those copies ftw

Dude, yesterday I've been trying a Wizards deck to work, with Naban, Naru Meha, Viashino and Wizard's Lightning. Could hardly pull it off but this should help out a lot...great vid, very helpful.

Love, love, love this combo. Could you make a video with the main win combo as a mill with the wall? My thoughts were take out 2 Naru, 4 Viashino, and 4 naban. Replace with 2 walls, 4 Quasiduplicate, 2 drowned secrets. 2 shimmer of Possibility. Other cards I thought had good synergy but not sure how to incorporate are Sage's Row Savant, Chemister's Insight, radical idea,Negate, Incubation // Incongruity for incubation.

Reminds me of a deck a friend of mine made involving Tradewind Rider(s), Wall of Blossoms, Capsize (w/ Buyback) and Seedborn Muse (untap all your permanents during each other players untap). Nasty during group play, and just downright annoying in duels.

the portal and the siren's ruse are not bounce effects, they are blink effects, using the right term would prevent some of your missplays. Second game, in response to the ritual of sout, you could have blinked your combo piece and hidden the exclusion mage and mentor underneath it.

The pyromancer was constantly flickering so I don't think hitting it with 1 damage would have ever killed it it should have just been hit then before the damage kills him he flickers out and now he's a new viasgino

The damage dont go in the stack anymore, been that way for a loooong time. The second its hit with the 1 damage it would be dead and would not "flicker"

In the first game, you should have blinked the deputy in response to his enter the battlefield trigger. That way you get to exile one of his targets forever and exile normally a second target. By the way, for the same reason, any insrant bounce or removal effect can destroy the main combo. Fun deck though, i would drop the red and the viashino in favor of more mill walls and better mana.

I personally liked the cards better then the screen mainly because it was easier to see they where easily obtainable (cheaper) and I play cards not computer/phone.

Game 2: on the blink could've targeted the Pack beast then used to to exile the 2 little guys to protect them from the risk of soot and gotten+4/+4

I thought the legend rule meant you could only have one of any kind of legendary creature in a deck? Or is it just one out at a time?

The rule now says “at a time”. I much prefer the old ruling on the legendary rule It allowed you to cancel an opponents legendary or walker with your own. Was a great strategy of a walker was really in the way Rather sad

I actually did that. Came here checking if someone had done that before lol. You just have to put everything under the battlement token. When the token is exiled battlement triggers mirror again. Now this is infinity loop

Because usually they are unreliable. They are not that consistent so it's just easier to play another deck. Of course, there are/were combos decks that are played in tournaments, i think just in standard we don't have any (smaller card pool).

I don't think they are intending to do it anytime even if they could, they have interest that players keep playing standard and buying new cards when the old sets rotate.

Was playing against a deck like this a few minutes ago and I think they should limit or ban the Lumbering Battlement, it was nearly as annoying as Nexus of Fate.
