item cancelling tech, courtesy of Trueblade Seeker ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8LAzqI8EuF0.html basically, its a cancel-chain that lets you cancel your attack animation with an item, and the item can be cancelled by switching keyblades so now we can switch keyblades smoothly
@@alexmetaverse they call it that and give it a green outfit but its actually countershield same thing with hunny blasters, they call it a guard form and give it a yellow outfit but its actually just gun form with barrier
Sora: Limit Form. Valor Form. Wisdom Form. Master Form! Limit, Valor, Wisdom- Mas- Lim- Val- Donald and Goofy: Are you ok, Sora? Sora *uncontrollably posing and interrupting his own sentence incoherently*
It would be funny if they had Dante appear in kh4 as a cameo just so they could put that featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry series sticker on physical copies

'We are the Sons of Nomura..' 'Within each of us flows his blood..' 'But more importantly, his SOUL!' 'And now, my soul is saying it wants to STOP YOU!' '...Unfortunately, our souls are at odds, Sora..' 'I NEED MORE SCREENTIME.'
Sora needs a good antagonistic rival, or at least whatever character that succeeds him should. You know, after they're done repeatedly depowering Sora, and let him finally have the happy ending he deserves.
New KH tech exploit: Gets discovered Nomura: Quick, throw together some new story DLC so that people are forced to update the game and get this patched
DMC and Kingdom Hearts have one thing in common: Both have the heart being a key part of their plot. And male characters that question my heterosexuality.
In a way this IS how it is. It’s all here in the game as is, intentional or not. So that’s pretty sweet. That tech doesn’t even take that long to get used to
Well square has the combat director from dmc 5 helping the new final fantasy so if they really wanted to they could do it I honestly would love to see that actually.

Since FF XVI is looking to have DMC-esque combat, I want to imagine that that it’ll look like this, but far more smooth. If they’re not going to build from scratch, KH3 and FFXV (yes, I know they are on different engines) have some animation and input clunk to them (imo). If they are able to smooth out the clunk, they’ll get a solid base for both the next console KH game and FFXVI (b/c honestly I think FFXV’s engine is strong enough for what has been revealed so far). They could even work temporarily with the combat animators, modelers, and coders for both KH (especially if they’re going to still be on staff for the next KH game that uses that specialized engine) and FFXV (since a lot of the code should be authored by them)... if any of them are still around and willing. These people have lives, so who knows. If they work on fixing the jank from KH3 and/or FFXV, it would also allow the people focusing on combat to have a stable testing ground early on in development. From my personal experience as a coder and concept designer of my own little projects, the most important part of development is to have an easily-revertible testing ground before the writer/s have finished the first draft of the story. Imo, if the engine were to change during development, solid models and animations SHOULD easily be carried over. It does depend on what the differences between the old and new engine are... Having an easily-revertible testing ground allows animators, modelers, and coders to get familiar with the engine, as well as allow the concept designer/s to start passing along their work at an earlier stage in development. Even if concepts get scrapped (which ofc they do), this part of the team learns and improves without having to wait for the encounter designer/s and writer/s (who should be bouncing their ideas off one another). Then again, this is a Japanese company... Who knows if they’re willing to evolve past the business culture’s outdated ways of getting approval. Current FFXIV has given me hope that at least this division working on XVI has their shit together and is willing to evolve (at least a little bit).
This really highlights just how much the form changes can expand on the gameplay. I always kinda panicked a about not making the most of a form change before it ran out, so I never really took the time to appreciate them instead of just spamming attack as much as possible
Sora:Here we go! Try this! Here we go! Back at ya! Here we go!Yeah! Yozora: *pain grunts* there.what a pain.i dont think so. you are done.nice try. My Vanitas PTSD: *WHATS YOURS IS MINE* edit:more lines for both
He was trying to fit Dante's stylechanges, in DMC each style changes his movesets and strengths, Swordmaster (CQC), Gunslinger(Ranged), Royalguard(Counters), and Trickster(movement)
You may have seen the SWORDTRICKSWORDTRICK comments and they reference an easy to do combo involving switching styles to keep the combo going on for longer
Dude. I know. I haven't been living under a rock. I adore dmc with my heart and soul. I know about all the memes. And while i didn't know that the forms he used here directly represented dante's styles, i was simply just pointing out how normally people nowadays just stick with more broken forms like double and ultimate. Making his use of less popular forms in combo's have an extra layer of respect and creativity.
Sora yelling out Dante’s style changes would be both the hypest and dorkiest shit ever. Imagine fighting this dumbass teen with the biggest shoes you’ve ever seen, and he suddenly shouts “gun!” and fucking shoots you without hesitation
This is only dream version of Yozora that has a small fraction of his strength in this, while his true self still sleeping elsewhere gathering his strength pieces by pieces, or so how I far pieces together so far
Save Wizard, a paid program that allows you to modify your PS4 save files. There's a way to get infinite forms whith it. Sham has a video already for that
Yozora: Foolishness, Sora. Foolishness. Might controls everything. And without strength you can not protect anything. Let alone yourself. Sora: SWORDTRICKGUNSWORDGUARDSWORDGUNTRICKSWORD
Yozora: oh it’s a new player this should be easy *summons weapon* Sora: *smirks and summons keyblade while devil trigger plays* Yozora: why do I hear boss music?
As a person who just watched a playthrough of DMC5 recently and am a huge KH fan... I can attest, this does look like Sora combos if he were in DMC... Wow... xD
This is genius, honestly. Great new way to play. And having all the transformations available in the menu along with the shortcut commands? Truly genius. Here's an idea. What if holding the shortcut command not only allowed access to magic, but even allowed you to use different usages of the D-Pad? Like, D-Pad could be for the most frequently used forms. Then, holding L1 could allow access to Magic Menu, Summon Menu, Attraction Menu, and Form Menu via pressing left or right D-Pad, and able to go through menus 1, 2, 3, or 4 to select options of those. Like how in the main game, you can press d-pad up or down to swap between the shortcut menu commands. Oh, and still having access to the green menu options for allowing the transformations from various keyblades to swap to in another menu, so as to gain the transformation attack for those that wanted such, as well as allowing the za spells. Though, those would be mere add-ons while having the others to allow a focus on high speed action. Just an idea I had thanks to this video.
KH3 if it was good Jokes aside: I truly wish swapping evolves into something DMC-esque with instant fast responses. The combat depth suffers too heavily without it.
the idea that the future of this franchise will involve sora as we know him fighting some unspecified threat in a version of the real world with an arsenal that can best be described as Weaponized Whimsy is both peak aesthetic and also the final nail the proverbial coffin for my theory that he was always meant to be a magical girl.
