So to get the void to work on the Quarry itself you actually have to click on the blocks and highlight them as blocks you want to void then you won't need the trash can other than for the deep slate

For AE2 there is "mega cells" in this pack, which is basically extra cells. It has bigger cells for items and fluids (AE2 does fluids natively now) and adds chemical cells for gases. I'd always choose AE2 over refined storage. It's a lot more lag friendly and working with channels is part of the fun for me.

Yeah same, I go with ae2 for the style points, white network in a black room looks way too good to not do it xD. Also I think this modpack has the lazy ae2 mod and ae2 things, so it's a clear winner for me.

Use sophisticated barrels with the quarry, because the stack upgrades are multiplicitive, so if you have 4 iron ones, it can hold 64*4^4 items per slot Edit: the value is around 16 thousand items per slot, or you could use the diamond ones and get 4 million items per space Edit 2: if you also change one of the storage upgrades for a crafting grid, in a netherite barrel you have around 120 different slots, and each could be a unique item due to the other upgrades allowing 400k or so items per slot

I don’t think that lack of power is your issue. The energy cube was full when the quarry was empty I think it’s not transferring fast enough

As for the not voiding the cobblestone, the settings on the card are for what it removes from the word so that would be stone not cobble, wich is just the result because ur not using a silk touch card, so it will void any cobble it comes across like spawner rooms or underground structures made from cobble but not the cobble resulting from stone "mining". I hope u understand what i mean, im not a native english speaker and great video btw ;)

The Builder will take as much power you can fee in to it, so just about any power system you use, it will deplete it and complain you have not power. All so, did you check the Box on the shape card to turn on the Void option?

I've not played ATM7 so I could be wrong. Is there no Mining Dimension in ATM like there is in ATM6? The item to get there is called a Teleporter. The Builder (Quarry) can only do 15k FE/t or something like that, you'll need to use the back and sides to give it more power, so it keeps up.

Sophisticated storage netherite chests with 3 diamond stack upgrades or sophisticated backpacks with 5 netherite stack upgrades can solve storage issues. If the 5 netherite stack upgrades still work on a netherite backpack, each stack can reach 242k or 262k items each.

A bunch of them did way back like 3 or 4 years ago. I don't remember the series name, but it started out as a floating island and I remember Welsknight created a huge base out of marble.

you can somehow make the quarry ignore cobble, granite and all that to save power and mine faster instead of voiding the stuff while its taking power

If you ask me, you shouldn't void the cobble and deepslate. Instead, just get some drawers for cobble and deepslate with max inventory expansion and hopper out the cobble and deepslate... and dirt if necessary. It would be a waste at this point. I could see wanting to void it once you have a full 1x1 drawer of each... but when you have little to none of it atm, not really.

the mod has a device that uses 4 stacks of dimensional shards to infuse the machine from the mod for different effects. for builder : lower energy usage. try it. also.... use flux for unlimited transfer of energy.

with pipez you can attach them to multiple faces of the block to multiply your item throughput so you don’t have to craft netherite upgrades

The only thing that cuases me to use ae2 instead of refined storage is the p2p tunnels. They are sooooo useful. The possibilities for the transport of channels and anything else over dimensions is just insane with ae2. Not sure if refined storage has that but thats the only reason i lean towards ae2

There is a device in the powah that make you charge player items wireless in any dimensions. So you wont need to charge any device in your inventory.

Refined storage is a lot easier to automate things since AE2 has channels

Channels are no problem if you know the basics, you can get 160 channels from a single me controller (leaving one side to power the p2p ports). Also a clean network looks really good, I'd recommend trying it out if you never did. (tho you're right, RS is easier)

The rf tools builder don't have a maximum amount of power it can take it takes what it gets and its speed goes faster with more power

i think if you upgrade shape card (maybe with 8 glass around) for your fortune quarry, instead of filling area with dirt it will leave it empty, so if down there is a lush cave with any not quarryable allthemodium ores, you will easily spot them. also check sophisticated storage things, because even sophisticated backpacks (which you use) have an advanced upgrade module that can craft stuff into blocks for you, sort items, or even the module that feeds you

Is it though? MacOS is based on UNIX what Linux is also based on. From what I understood, Refined Storage is inspired by AE. So to me it sounds more like Linux Distro 1 vs Linux Distro 2. xD There is too much variation between MacOS and Linux. because apple hasn't been idling

Hey Wels, I have a question. Since this is 1.18 doesn't the raw copper, gold and iron compact into raw blocks? Would they work with the compacting drawer?

@@CastielQuinzel With All the Mods, there is no end goal. With other modpacks there tends to be a quest book to give you an end goal, but with this one you just do whatever you want, within the confines of what is possible. In other words, it's just like vanilla Minecraft, gameplay-wise.
