I've seen alot of these tutorials I guess we can call them. And this guy voice is super calming and he definitely breaks everything down to where I can understand and he didn't confuse what he was teaching. I enjoyed watching this and will definitely watch more. Thanks.
Great videos, they have been really helpful. It would be great to see the process that you omitted in 11.15- 11.30 in cleaning the line art for the head.
I am very new to digital art. I've been approaching it in a similar manner to traditional art. I realized I could make things a lot easier for myself with layering, and this video has helped me understand how to utilize that a lot better. thank you for posting! I have one question, do you know if it is possible to save selections similar to how it is done in Photoshop?
Great comment and good luck with your efforts! I don't think there's a graceful way to save selections here. There's a clipboard that copies what's in the selection and I suspect a strange hack would be to make a brush out of your selection but that could be problematic later. The editing features are the Achilles heel for IP at the moment.
🤭 7:57 I'm gonna spend some time laying down a bunch of colors that are chaotic - much like my art career" Thanks for this tutorial! you are awesome :)
@@HelloHiHola Yay, thanks! 😀 You sound jolly and young at heart, it's fun learning from your tutorials. Thanks again for the information and also for giving interest in my music! (I'm also an illustrator & designer in case you're wondering what I'm doing here..)
Where medibang folder layer tool (in photoshop it's called group layer) For manage multiple layer, not just with clipping I can't find it in infinite painter
@@HelloHiHola I guess I gotta wait for mine to function well haha I now have pixelated layers from time to time but I still use the app because it has the best brushes out there for me hehe thanks for reading and responding to my comment ^_^
When I color and I don't want a color to color over a line how do I stop that lile when I'm doing line art and I try to color it colors over the line even if I change layer
Coloring inside the lines is an eternal challenge! But you might look into mask layers and then color on a layer beneath the line art. 💡 What would you name that tutorial?
I'm not sure what "hold" might mean; I have no programs that do that. If you mean grouping layers, Android devices don't support that yet but docs can tell you how for iOS devices.
You can stack layers for clipping. The property seems to parent upward with no limit but that's just a guess. The maker's website _finally_ has an awfully good manual online now (wasn't there at the time of recording). I turned to it last night and found answers to tough questions. It's worth checking it out.
Is there a way to save an image to use later on a canvas? For example leaves & flowers, I draw individual stems of everything 1st then put them into bqts later by duplicating the image or at least thats my goal....
@@valentinabonura7199 I've been able to "Click and drag" with my finger on the layer previews. If you click and drag them into the workspace, you access a whole shelf with a few extra layer commands.
Wow. The one thing I wanted to see, saving line art without a back ground, you FINALLY get to, and I think "Here it is!!!", but then you just skip past the acual steps you used and come back to it after you've done it. I learned nothing.
Understandably. The background isn't a layer in the context of this video but it's a good quest you're on. Exporting art as a PNG file will give you the chance to preserve transparency. To the best of my knowledge, that's the only file type offering the option to omit the background/canvas.
