what i’ve been saying. it’s like they don’t take pride in infiniti’s lmfaoo. they look great, they’re a nissan Z’s brother, they pack power despite having more weight. they may not look the best frm the front imo but they’re definitely underrated
I have owned both a 2003 G35S coupe and a 2008 G37S coupe. Bought them both new, even ordered the 2008. I saw so many improvements had been made, I had to buy the G37. 50 HP more better styling (IMO) MUCH nicer auto-shifter - smaller pistol grip Vs big, heavy grip. DS is toward driver, not away. DS mode - holds gears longer, but no shifting required Nav screen is fixed, not pop-up - G37 is touch-screen/voice controlled 9GB HDD music storage (w/nav) CF card MP3/WMA player, iPod intf His & hers setting driver-seat memory 19" wheels/tires (still staggered, like G35S) Rear-wheel steering Did I mention 50 HP more?!?!
@@williamsvensson3992 The G37 also has a 7 speed automatic which keeps the engine stable in its power band. Not to mention the power band range is already 2200 to 5500 before there is any torque drop off. The variable valve timing works really well in the G37 engines. Add to that the fix to the G35's oil consumption and timing chain tensioner issues.
damm... you think G35 and G37's labeling is not creative? 3.5, 3.7 are the definition of this car just like BMW 325, 635, or Ferrari 365,388 or Corvette LS1, C6. or L88 naming is not creative!? Dude, you don't know much about cars and designations by manufacturers and what the different configurations are. Try looking at Mopar's designation of their muscle cars! And Mopar is a creative name for Chrysler/Dodge's designations for their uncreative designs and markings!
You forgot that one has a stronger and better engine than the other one. G35 coupe vq35de < g37 coupe/sedan vq37hr Also the 07 g35 sedan and up has vq35hr
G35 is more stylish and looks fast the newer 35s and 37s look too dull and swoopy body lines makes it look less agressive. The 1st and 2nd gen were more unique and classy looking. Very simple but raw look.
Daily drove a bought-new 2003 G35 until I wore it out (recently). Replace it with a used 2008 G35 (new body style). The older version was a luxury sports car. The updated version is a sporty luxury car. Softer ride, more plush & up-scaled interior, quieter ride (even with a higher RPM at highway speed). Still a great car, with a massive punch & a joy to drive, but it's definitely lost much of its aggressive "edge".
Just got a G35s for 5k. How much do 2007 G37s go for now? I'm assuming the extra 50hp isn't worth the extra money though. And it looks kinda feminine in the coop version.
The G37 is more reliable. They fixed the issues the G35 engine had with timing chain tensioner and oil consumption. The one fault the G37 had was a crappy paper header gasket that could blow, however all 2012 and 2013 models came with metal ones. So if you want a G37 the 2012 and 2013 are the most reliable.
Okay that was the comparison you didn't talk about performance or nothing we talked about the way the car looked and they weren't stock they don't come with 19 inch Rams and the difference of 70 horsepower didn't mention any about that and how can you compare a 2005 G35 to 2012 G37 there is no comparison between with you the 12 has a 6-speed transmission. You said there's pretty much no difference but the motor size well there's a horsepower difference there's a transmission the speech from 0-60 and 0 to 100 big differens
4:33 the sedan just looks bad with stock wheels, if you lowered it and got nicer wheels, maybe rear window tint it would look even cooler then the coupe. That’s just my opinion tho

Thought u would compare the updated hr g35s not the DE sedans because the g35 sedan you showed was maybe 2003-2005 or something. The updated g 35's 07-08 sedans and coupe are far more closer to the looks of the g37

After owning both, I can sum it up as such: X oversteers a lot more. X has open diff vs lsd in the S. X sits about half an inch higher. The X MUST get a sway bar upgrade because the rear sway is half the size of the one in the S, and you really feel the difference. S comes with Akebono 14" BBK, x has single piston brakes all around (xs has 2 piston in the front, but still crappy slider calliper). X is 7AT only, S can come in 6MT. 7AT S comes with paddle shifters, X doesnt. You can run staggered wheels on the S, but not the X. (well, you can with some trickery, but not worth it unless you just do an AWD bypass switch for the summer) Certain years of the S sedan have better shocks than those found in the X. X has a snow mode that gives 50/50 power split to front and rear wheels under 20mph. Otherwise its RWD biased with as much at 100% going to the rear till things slip. Depending on where you are, some RWD models have a snow mode, but all it does is limit throttle. S has a nicer looking, more aggressive front bumper cover. These are the biggest noticeable differences between the two.
