2003 G35 Coupe, 6spd: This novice saved $560 from mechanic quote by purchasing "A-Premium Anti-Clip Function Window Regulator Motor for Nissan 350Z 2003-2009 Infiniti G35 2003-2007 Front Left Driver Side" for $39.98 on Amazon (delivered next day). My drivers side motor just quit on me, after I rolled it down. So I followed your steps but after removing the inner panel (interior)I banged on the place where the motor is mounted (inside metal panel) & ...it worked. Window went up & down, but if it's ALL the way down it wouldn't go up. So, I banged it again just to get it up in case of rain. I'm thinking the brushes may be bad, & a cleaning would work, but I'm going to replace the motor anyway since I see how to now! Thanks a lot, hope I don't have to use too many of your videos! 😎👍🏼

One of the most hated g35 replacements the window motor. Had to get mine replaced sucks if the window doesnt roll up and stays down then you have to replace it and get the window out of the way with out breaking it. Great video 👌

First of all thank you for making videos! My window motor sometimes work, sometimes not. And it's very hard for motor to pull window up (needs physical help).

Video help me out a lot with my window motor replacement. A few differences with my 2007 g35 coupe, you not only need to remove the 10mm bolts but the window frame bolts as well (4 of them). Also there is no window reset button. The window reset by shutting the door. Still this video help me get it done.

Hi Motordyne G35, I probably watched this vid like 10 times and I bought the window motor from O’Reily’s and followed every step but when it came to testing out the window, it would get stuck in the down position. I know the electrical contact is there when you press the switch because I can hear it but for some reason the window gets stuck. Any suggestions? Props to all your vids man thanks!

My 35 dollar window motor from ebay is going strong. Just an option. It is a 12 year old car after all (mine is, 05 coupe)

I changed the brushes in the motor and still working good as new years later.

Thanks for the video, my passenger side has had a few slight hiccups and I'm sure I'll have to replace it soon.

My driver side is starting to act "sluggish" intermittently. Sometimes it doesn't work, but comes back by rapping on the door card. There is a very dull friction stripe 2/3 toward the front of that window. Is this indicative of a bad motor or is it something else? Thanks for what you do. Keep this gen alive!

Hey dumb question.. I got the new motor re attached and everything buttoned up to test, works fine and rolls up.. go to do reset procedure and the reset button is no longer accessible.. question is will this go back together and work if the motor is the wrong way? It drops like it supposed and goes back up when I open and close the door which to me I think it doesn’t need the reset? But at the same time I couldn’t do the reset even if I wanted to, it took 2 ppl fighting to get those bottom two aligner bolts for the frame back on and idk if I should open it back up and double check or button it up the rest of the way and roll with it lol.. at this point I’m glad to have a window but don’t want to do more damage over possibly having the motor the wrong way

Hey can someone help me out. My driver window is stuck down , I’ve replaced the switch and the motor but still won’t work. When I click the switch up it makes a clicking noise and I can feel the motor trying to work but idk what else it could be

Wow great video. My driver side window is all the way up. It won't go down or up at all. The drivers side works fine. Do you think its the motor ? Or the regulator?

So my windows roll down about 4, 5 inches as I shut the door. Also when I use the quick auto roll up/down . I was told to hold down on the window up/down button for about 10 sec each way. Still does not work properly. Idk what to do . Any advice to fix or am I gonna need new motor?

nice great video bro this is so weird just right now at the afternoon i decided to take it to the Mechanic to fix my motor of the passenger window And Everything when good but my passenger door doesnt lock so it stays open and theh told imma have to go to a Yonke to get that part for cheap and installed cause its no after marker cable that will lock and unlock my door, what could other option i could do? please help and nice vid👌

The 3 Phillips screws that are holding the motor to the power widow assembly is basically impossible to remove because it has lock washers. So I’m unable to replace just the motor. How did you take yours out??? The 3 phillip-head screws will just strip out on mine. I might have to buy the entire assembly now

Hey Motordyne G35, thanks this helped me with my window. I have another issue on my 05 Coupe near this one maybe you know about?? - Door locks work but only about every 45 seconds or so, no matter if I use the remote or the lock / unlock button inside the car. - First thought is it's the door lock actuators, BUT I don't think so cause they do work as long as I let them rest for about a minute in between uses. I can hear something that sounds like it's coming from the rear passenger area behind the interior panel like maybe a relay or something that feeds the locks that sounds weak? - But I'd compare it to a camera flash or a capacitor that needs to charge for a minute in between uses and then it works but if it's used right away it's too soon. Anyone have this issue? Any solutions? Does this even make sense lol?

Hey bro, I would like to meet you but I live in Chicago. I have 04’ G35 coupe is only 28,000 miles. Owner for 14 years. My window driver side just died today.

Save yourself the $130 and a trip to Autozone. The "bad" motor just needs to be cleaned out. Once thats done will work like new. I heard they even give you some money back if you bring back your "bad" motor. Makes sense , give a lifetime warranty. They will just clean your "bad" motor and give that back to you if you ever come back again, or just sell it.

I did everything as of video up until 3:52 but then when I had it all done the window would go half way up and then wouldn’t go upanymore
