Installing an Infinity BassLink Subwoofer into a 2014 Toyota Corolla base model using speaker-level input from factory radio. Includes 10g 12v battery wire routing and interior trim removal.
The 2014 Corolla has a lot more subwoofer "rattle" than our 2005 Corolla Sport, so plan on using some DynaMat or other sound-deadening materials, especially on the quarter-panel that is on the same side as the subwoofer.

The subwoofer amp gets signal from all FOUR speakers from the radio. I do not have an amp or aftermarket radio.... Yet!

Hadi M The Sub takes LINE input from speaker. No converter was needed...

The corollas still dont have RCA outputs, is that correct? How do you connect the woofer then? Can you post a still pic about the wires from the subwoofer getting connected to HU harness?

Yes, stock radio does NOT have RCA's... I used the speaker level connectors on the amp, so I had to tap into the speaker wires near the radio. I just ran all the wire in one bundle along the door sill of the passenger side...

How much base do you get inside of the car? I don't need HUGE bass, but would like to have a good balance.

It works great.....It will give you good bass....will even shake your rear view mirror when cranked.....no, its not melt your brain loud....but its enough to sound great.

has anyone on here had any problems using the stock alternator as it is regulated at 12v... I'm planning on running about 1200rms on a 800watt sub... Will my electrical system be able to handle it? or will lights be dimming like crazy

dank9288639 yes it will I had a sundown x 12 on a shark 2500 running off all stock with 0 gauge sky high wire check out my page and you cane see the x 12 in action

youre not suppose to run power and rca's or in this case speaker wires together. creates distortion.

Access wire? All wires were run along the passenger side floor along the door sills...

Hey man, you should've read reviews before buying this particular powered subwoofer. It's no good after awhile and will eventually burn out on you, mark my words

Maybe if you thump it till the car panels vibrate it may not last long, but my wife has been using this Infinity Basslink for over 4 years now, in two different cars. I am more than pleased with its longevity and performance.

Usually things like that are the result of improper gain or trying to push it way too hard. Though for any powered subwoofer, they make it hard for anyone to actually adjust the gain properly using a voltmeter, guess you have to either do it by ear or use an oscilloscope. I wonder if the oscilloscope app for iPad works decently?
