Infinity Defiance - Lost footage from Mission 3 (and a little extra about Aristeia!)

So I had been enjoying the making of the Infinity Defiance series and I learnt so much in the process of making them about how to animate the videos and make them better.
However, tragedy struck when I lost all my footage and work on a hard rive that decided to just collapse.
Luckily, I did manage to save some footage that I had exported and rather than just dump it, I thought I would share it.
Now calamity doesn't always happen by itself, but seems to come in waves. I was also working on an Aristeia! battle report, but the game footage has been lost and I can no longer continue to make this particular episode. No worries though, all the assets for the video are made, so all I need to do is play another game and make a video from it.
Please let me know what you think of what I had done so far and let me know what you would like to see in any future battle report videos.

Sorry about the data loss. I have been looking forward to the next Aristeia battle report. The previous has been the best on the internet!

Just found your campaign playthrough and sad to hear about the dataloss as I’ve just picked up defiance on the secondary market. Time to switch to SSDs then eh? 😅

Hello. I bought a base box of Aristeia just a few days ago. I played 3 games and I really enjoyed it. I am very surprised that Aristeia is so little known and not popular in comparison with similar skirmish games. The game is amazing though. I can imagine how much work you put into creating these animated reports. Although I liked the video and the animations are made at a high level of quality, but I find this format monotonous and a little boring, although it only lasts a few minutes. Personally, it would be more interesting for me to watch a report with a table and players, with pauses and boring parts cuted out. And between rounds, such animated 15-30 second scenes with a recap of the last round would look good. No details, as we've already seen the actual footage of the game. The emotions and interaction of the players will perfectly complement your high-quality animations. Thus, the video will be more interesting to watch, much longer in time, but less laborious in creating animations, since most of the video will be recorded footage from the game. Anyway, I will follow the channel and wish you the best of luck.

I would love to play at a table with players. Alas I live in Japan and don’t get the time or opportunity to play very often, and especially with a camera setup. I have to play on Table top simulator and use that gameplay to make my reports. I do want to slim down the reports more and make them much shorter and to the point. The problem with my old ones as I see it is I tried to do too much: both gameplay and story. I want to lean in to one or the other. As I cannot play with someone live, then I will most likely lean into the story style. However, if I do get the chance to do a straight up battle report with another player I shall try to do so! Thanks so much for the feedback and enjoy the game. It is fantastic!
