Infinity Lore: Future-History Explored 

I have to say, it's actually kind of refreshing to see a game with a futuristic setting that's not dark and depressing and super out-of-our-league... Infinity (for what is told here and what I've found) is possible and logic, and it's not super depressing, not all "grr, everything is bad, death 'n' destruction". But it is in a sence hopeful, in that we can thrive and expand and still maintain ourselves. Conclusion: I like the setting.

As a long time subscriber and an infinity player... This is an absolute surprise, but a welcome one.

Played my first intro game of Infinity yesterday, after looking at the game for a few years. Really liked it. The fact that both players are always engaged with AROs makes it that much better. No more "I hit you, then I hit me". I'll be picking it up shortly.

As a haqq player I’m excited you’re doing infinity lore videos as well now. As always great video. The interactions over dawn’s independence is probably my second favorite of any of the parts of the lore. This is great timing as well because I had taken about a 6 month break from infinity to get back into AoS. Friends finally convince me to play again and not even a week after my first reentry game you come out with a video. Sorry for rambling, I watched this after a dnd session so I’m tired.

I’m a 40k player and ttrpg GM but your lord videos combined with the great aesthetics of the miniatures has definitely convinced me to start an army, or two, ok to be honest I’ll probably collect all of the factions because I like each and every one of them in some way.

There's a significant Infinity scene in the place I'm going to school, so I can't say I haven't been interested. I don't know if I'll go full into it, but maybe you'll convince me to pick up some models. This lore seems interesting. Your coverage will definitely help me to feel out what I might want to get, if indeed I get anything.

So I play Haqqislam, the look of their TAG and their model line is absolutely amazing and has a cool "ghost in the shell" vibe and plus you gotta love those viral weapons.

Got my first serious set of infinity miniatures a couple of days ago and currently I am slowly cleaning and assembling my PanO Military Orders set. I love the design and theme of the "Space Crusaders". The quality of the miniatures is quite well, but there's a lot to clean up before painting.

I am completely new to Infinity. Actually two days ago I heard about it for the first time. And THIS VIDEO IS PERFECT!!! I think I will start playing it

Just played my first full game last night! Used Nomads (Bakunin) but I also have Aleph, Ariadna and Haqqislam figures.

About to start a infinity rpg and I'm definitely sharing this with my players

Love the infinity coverage. I have been playing infintiy for awhile and discovered you when i gave AOS a go. Hope you keep this up. I hope you go into "Cubes" and transferable memory and consciousness. I also hope you make the extra effort to hit the different pronunciations. It is definitely a multi cultural game and would be great to hear. Great stuff! keep it up!

6:45 As an Australian I would like to point out that people underestimate just how much natural recourses we have. From something like a 1/4th of the worlds uranium, to a staggering amount of fish stocks (we control a VAST amount of ocean as there is no one really to our West and South, so if you added NZ then you have something like 1/5th of the worlds oceans under your control), to a fair chunk of Antarctica, to huge gold and gas reserves, some of the most geologically stable land for geo thermal power... let alone solar/ wind. It is a real shame we have such a lack of vision in the people in charge to properly manage long term all this.

Oh god finally! I've been playing Infinity for a year and I've always wanted to know more about the Lore. The guys I play with tell me it's amazing, and I'm already loving your coverage. Keep it coming- I'll be watching!

This was pretty unexpected. I have a bunch of infinity stuff just for the lore. One day I'll learn play this game and enter the Iowa City yearly tournament, by all accounts there wasn't a sober person within miles of that event.

Unexpected but a pleasant surprise as I don't see that much content with regards to Infinity's lore that isn't from Corvus Belli. Also looking forward to the Nomad video as I'm a Bromad (though I've yet to play a game)

Been interested in this for a good few years, but didn't have the money until recently. So when the Defiance KS came, I deep dived into the shit and backed the whole damn lot. So I guess my response to "Do I play? Which faction?" would be: Not yet, and YESS! XD

I think you should reorder this playlist; currently seems to play in reverse of the intended order (newest on top).

Excellent stuff. I’m so pleased you started looking at Infinity as it needs so much more of a spotlight. The history is so complex and well written. I can’t wait till you cover the Morat and EI, very interesting concepts. It’s good to know that a new edition is coming out too as it is needed to streamline the game.

This is all super new to me and it was a great intro. Looking forward to more! What I would be interested in seeing is some of the model ranges/iconography alongside each faction. I've seen the models before in stores but without context

One of my favorite settings in miniatures. I'm a huge fan of Haqq-Islam and The Nomads. Haqq-Islam feels like the closest thing the setting has to out and out good guys, and The Nomads are Cyberpunk as fuck. Love it

Definitely looking forward to more Infinity lore videos. There's a ton to explore, and of all the miniature settings so far, I find it to be the best setting overall.

I have played infinity for a couple of years now. My faction of choice is Panoceania,specifically the Military Orders sub faction. Because what is more awesome than space knights who basically are futuristic incarnations of the knightly orders of the crusade era? My next battle group will probably be built around my favorite PanO world svalarheim,an ice planet mainly inhabited by people who track their origins to the Scandinavian peninsula on earth.

I've been getting back into infinity lately, never gotten much into the lore before because of the lack of vids so this is great!

I've been playing Infinity since 2014 when the Operation: Icestorm Boxed Set was released. What is my favorite faction? Well for the past year I've played Yu Jing and with the new edition (N4) being released this month I'm asking myself what new faction I want to use. Currently leaning towards the Combined Army (because it's always good being the bad guys) or possibly Nomads (because they've been unused for 6 years now and I feel guilty). Awesome video, I've been watching the whole series. I hope in the future you get time to cover Aleph, Tohaa, each sectorial in more focus and each of the Non-Aligned armies.

Decided to finally try Infinity with the release of Code One, so glad you are doing a lore series. Now I am really hooked on the world!

I've been playing since 2015 and I view the background of Infinity as one of its core pillars, so I've really appreciated this video. However, I must point out that the first 4 factions you talk about have the lion share of the video, while Aleph and Nomads are just briefly mentioned, without explaining (even in a brief way) their origins, like you did with the other four. I know you've made specific videos on each faction (and I'll watch them for sure), but it would be nice to have an updated general overview.

Played since 2010. I love haqqislam for the terraforming lore like alien movies. Ariadne always have gorgeous models and fluff

I play Haqqislam and JSA. Its a Great game but all the special rules can be a pain especially for new players. Extremely well done miniatures though.

I have been playing infinity for about 7 years now, took a brake to play AOS but will still play and love infinity. I play Pano, I look forward to see you do more infinity lore.

My favorite faction is Ariadna, with a soft spot for USAriadna. I think it’s partly because I like sci-fi films where the marines are going in and getting hammered. My #1 movie is Aliens! I have some 30mm Aliens minis I intend to use with Infinity at some point, going up against USAriadna, though I think the Combined Army has some amazing alien designs and rich lore anyway! Blackjacks might be my favorite model of all, either one of the two current designs!

Fantastic intro to a great game and awesome that you have taken interest into it. Personally I´ve played it since 1st ed and love the "elves" of the game. Wont spoil to much, instead looking forward hearing about them in a future video :)

I have played infinity for nearly 3 years. I was drawn to the Nomads for aesthetic reasons but I remain invested in their rebel like status. In terms of faction focus, I feel I understand Haqqislam least.
