Infinity Lore: The Nomads 

What I love about the Nomads is that they are pretty much a collection of all that weird stuff. I mean, they have people that dye their skin for fun and gene-modders that are pretty much walking anime characters, rubbing shoulders with literal furries and cyborgs. True, Ariadna has its Werewolves and Antipodes, but that's more of the classic variety, and most of them can change back. The Nomads on the other hand have stuff like humanoid, purple-furred (or skinned?) cats running around (just look at their Uberfallkommandos, specifically the Chimera , and you'll see it for yourself). Also, since they are a repository for all these fringe ideas and ideologies (Especially Bakunin), they are by far the easiest faction to make "Your Dudes" of, as in, giving your miniatures a personalized color scheme and cooking up homebrew lore for them.

I started playing nomads because i loved their models and then i fell in love with their lore as a bunch of wandering anarchists.

Got to say the mechs in Nomad army is what got me to chose them. Don't even know how they play but style first then gameplay.

Great video. Nomads are one of the three factions I play and this video is a good introduction to better understand them and their qualities. Only critic I can make, is the fact that on the part concerning Tunguska there is just a brief mention of how the "hacker" part of the equation "mafia + banks + hacker = Tunguska" is important, but I hope it will be clarified on the Tunguska video. As for the gaming part, I play mostly Corregidor, because I love them being the rough guys and gals wandering trough space, selling their valuable skills to the best buyer (I particularly like their "not military skills", like EVA operations and space mining) and don't giving a shit about the others. On the table, they are well rounded, without the tricks of Bakunin and Tunguska, but with a bit more firepower. My favourite model is definitely the Intruder with multisniper rifle, he looks really cool and can really wreak havoc on the enemy. Anyway, really good job, keep up the good work ^^.

I really hope we get to see you do more infinity lore, I’ve been following your page for years now and in that time I’ve swapped to playing infinity instead of warhammer due to monetary restraints. So I love getting to see more infinity content on RU-vid.

Good video. I do feel that you tend to gloss over aspects of Nomads that are downright terrible and overt in their fluff. You also tend to refer to some of the other factions as being "minor" nations. To be clear though - PanOceania, Yu Jing, Haqqislam (which is a nation btw - it wasn't before the discovery of Bourak), Ariadna, and Nomads are the major nations within the Human Sphere. Everyone else not mentioned are minor powers, relegated to Earth or the Sol system. JSA gets a shout-out here because they are the army of Great Japan, which is a minor nation that received its status as such in O-12 through sponsorship with Haqqislam and the Nomad Nation. I also recommend you give the Infinity RPG books a deep read for fluff. Corvus Belli maintains a firm hold of over what is written with everything being sent up to Gutier for final approval. I'd love to see new videos that explore all factions and planets within a nation that include the CB vetted lore from the RPGs. Notes or Criticisms: - Correigidor was abandoned by the nations that created it. They resorted to selling off prisoners to whoever would pay the most. They later on hired out their hardened killers as mercs. - Bakunin also has the Praxis Black Labs, which is a mad scientist's paradise. As long as you have the money, anything can be made here from cat-girl sex slaves to engineered bioweapons. - Sectorials are the specific armies of each ship. They actually have a unified military command structure called the Nomad Military Force (NMF) that coordinates each of the Jurisdictional Commands. - The Nomad Nation (or rather Bakunin) does have its own form of pseudo-ever pervasive surveillance network. They call it 'Social Energy' and it's basically a social rating / ranking system that serves as an ID, currency and self-policing system for social interactions. You remember that episode of Dark Mirror? That but 'managed.' - Note: Nomads take transhumanism to the far extremes. They're examples of unchecked transhumanism either biologically or technologically in comparison to the rest of the Human Sphere. It's just something to keep in mind when you talk about them. If you are familiar with Eclipse Phase or other transhuman works, the Nomads are more "in-line" with their counterparts.

I love Nomads due to Cat girls..... Nah kid :P I absolutely love their bag of tricks mentality and the wide range of personalities. Favourite model from the Nomads is probably the most disliked which is the Lizard. I really feel it has that old school 1990's anime mecha suit wall crawler look. The main problem with that miniature is just the fact it is posed so statically that it doesn't show it's true form.

Nomad are not evil! They are the good guys of infinity. Alot of the original RPG player characters are nomads.
