-Build plans/details-
We didn't write down any measurements or details about anything but here's the basics of what we did:
All dimensions were based on the mirror. we started with a sliding closet door mirror that we found on sale and built the frame around that. We measured the mirror and then created a rectangle that fit the mirror using 2x10 boards.
Inside that frame we put some small brackets with wood to hold it in place. We then created a sandwich with the mirror on the bottom, then built the triangles using some smaller pieces of wood that sit directly on the mirror.
We then used 3 seperate LED strips for the lights. We have one strip that went along the inside of each triangle that are controlled by a button in line with the strip. The third string goes along the rest of the frame on the outside of the triangles and the sides. This strip is controlled via a wireless remote that is velcro'd to the bottom of the frame. All these strips are connected to a power strip mounted underneath the table so there is only one connector that needs plugged in.
The top is a piece of clear polycarbonate that we purchased from a local plastic sheet supplier. We then applied a one-way mirror film to the bottom of it to create the "infinity" effect you see in the finished product.
The legs were created just using more lumber and a simple H-frame design. They are held in place using some large bolts which can be removed allowing the legs to be folded up during transport.
