I would make more videos like this (especially updates), but because RU-vid has taken down my videos due to copyright, I'm trying to stray away from these types of videos.
I really like how One One immediately goes from Lake needs to stick around to trying to get her off the train the moment he realizes that it’ll solve one person’s problem. Now, he can’t figure out how to do that, but he recognizes it as the only solution and has no problem with it
One-one is a computer in the end. So he cant bend tge rules or make personal judgment calls. Even when his two prime directives conflict with one another.
One-One was made with the rule that everything is an option. Infinity means that, given enough time, all possible possibilities will occur. So a passenger needing a character from the train to come with him is a plausible and acceptable possibility.
@@jacktjong1266 So too is the fact that, by adding a rule that prevents denizens from leaving the train, Jesse’s new number kept glitching. And that Jesse would’ve been stuck on the train forever if Lake _was_ destroyed, as Sieve kept suggesting. You don’t have infinity when rules are put in place to prevent less desirable possibilities.
“I’d appreciate it if you’d stop breaking everything.” “Unless you want me to start writing your obituary.” Man just having One one say that gave me chills
Stubborn Passenger: "Why should I listen to you!?" Conductor One-One: "Because I am the conductor.🤖😐 (Glad 1) Now, play along with the therapy and we'll all be friends! 😊 (Sad 1) Unless you REALLY wanna be a troll.😑"
Literally everyone else - Fighting. One-one - 🎶"Looking for a way to stop the Steward. Stop the Steward, stop the Steward. Looking for a way to stop the Steward so we can turn evil Addicus back to a dog."🎶 One-One - "Æugh. Too many syllables."
@@Darkness_56526 I think it was the sad one and the glad one not both one-one. When talking to them both it is either one or one-one, but when you think about it I guess you can refer to either of them as one or one of them glad one or sad one.
I feel dumb as hell, watched the original season, saw Tulip knock open it's mask like three or four times, and until the book2 finale I didn't notice the conductor port inside the steward's head.
@@Gabriel.terluk it actually made me question the train and how it works. In Jesse's case he practically chose his problem which was coming back and leaving with Lake but in most other cases like Tulip, the train knew her problem was her needing to learn to live with and understand some things are out of her control and that you can't ignore problems out of your life. The train didn't put Tulip on the train to fix her parent's marriage which she wanted to. It actually seems like a major plot hole that Jesse actually wasn't sent off to learn to live with the fact that you lose people in your life and you have to learn to live with it but God that would've been a really dark Season 2 ending.
I thought the train tackled only deep issues and not surface things. Like I thought in Season 4 that Ryan and Min's issue was to not be so dependent on each other and additionally for Min that he had to learn to be his own person but instead the issue was fixing their relationship.
I thought the show explains the front of the train used to have those guns but Amelia repurposed them for the Steward. Now why the train needs guns is another question that needs answering.
No, the train has no weaponry. Unless you mean when it had guns in Amelia's flashback, but that futuristic design was only for enticing Amelia to get on board. Edit: It does have weaponry on board I guess, but the exterior of the train only has weapons in Amelia's flashback
The “weapons” are only there for removing debris and laying track, we see them dematerialize the roof of the university and materialize a train station to entice tulip
Ah, so it appears the steward was an efficient mode of transportation for One One, the claws can interact with the cars and it has built in guns for self defense. I'm guessing it also has a built in AI that can be commanded remotely with beeps when not being piloted?
3:28 One thing I started to wonder about after Book 4 was weather or not there were more than one Steward that have just been killed off over the years since Amelia's take over. Seeing these few shots makes me realize there's room for at least 30 or so lining the Conductor's chamber.
Oneone in season 1: "I dont remeber anything since the haircut" Me: oh its funny because he doesnt have hair Oneone in season 2: riding around in the conductor's face where all the tentacle arms attach to Me : *oh*
Theory 1. 'The Tone' is *that * series of beeps, and probably acts like some sort of dog whistle for the Steward [4:16] . 2. Whenever the Tone plays, the Steward receives instructions from the broadcaster. 3. The Steward will accept slight variations in the Tone, but the timing has to be the same, and the relative pitches have to be the same, hence why Amilia can gain control over the Steward by mimicking The Tone [2:26]). 4. The Steward will prioritize variations closer to the actual Tone, hence why One-One can regain control over it by playing the actual Tone.
I’ve noticed the steward also gives a response of two chirps after getting a command, as seen in the clip where Amelia tells it to shoot the ball pit car up. And when One-one is singing something meaningful to him in the crystal car he sings the command AND the response tones
3:55 One-One: 🎶 Looking a way to stop the Steward, stop the Steward, stop the Steward, Looking a way to stop the Steward so we can turn evil Atticus back into a Dog 🎶
i love that after seeing season 4 we get to see a one before amelia took over the train and he was so robotic and now he is so emotional well i mean he still don't give a F about the passengers but now shows interest
@Bright like a diamond! Sorry, I don't really do "sub for sub". You can subscribe if you find my content interesting, and I'll subscribe if I enjoy your content.
WARNING SPOILERS . . . . . . . So Atticus really died there and was not transformed by one of those spheres by the shot of Amelia. And then he transformed in a cockroach monster yet with some memories left (like when he stopped sucking the soul out of his friend Tulip or when he attacked the Stewart in this scene). Tuba transformed killed Simon after she was wheeled still with memories from her previous death and avenged herself and Hazel then she reincarnated too. So basically every character who gets or already lived on the train is immortal. It makes sense for a train potencially full of young passengers to be death-proof, is very like One-One. Maybe we'll see Mace again also. All dead characters kinda shared a similar fate in the show.
actually Owen confirmed in an AMA that the denizens have lifespans similar to those of the creatures they’re based on (i.e. Atticus has a lifespan of 14 years, as do corgis). the Cat is the exception because of something particular to her.
If that is so, I do wonder if passengers reincarnate. It would be terrifying to have Simon back if he reincarnated in something large. Or very funny if he did in something small and cute.
I'm assuming it's because One-One is a highly intelligent robot designed to run the entire train, while the Steward is primarily programed as a defense for the train (mostly remote controlled), not being intelligent enough to function on it's own.
Insane detail if it’s true, (I’m not a music guy. The four notes Amelia and One-One use to control the Steward are the same four notes used in the title cards/main melody.
I've tried remaking videos like this (particularly the Randall one) but I keep running into issues with the copyright bot automatically taking down my videos. That's why I don't really post these anymore.
@@edenilsonfuentes2602 There was a 3rd season.. centered around Grace, Simon, and the Apex? Plus, I'm pretty sure all of their stories are finished and the creator doesn't have interest in bringing them back. As much as I'd love to see more Tulip, M.T. or Jesse, it just wouldn't make sense to bring them back.
Yeah, this video was uploaded before they were released. I've thought about updating it, but there's been copyright issues where videos get taken down since I don't have the rights to them. Sorry if that disappoints.
