such a good pilot. it'd be a shame if it was screwed over by absurd age demographics and companies overlooking teen audiences in the animation field which is such an overlooked target audience, which if overlooked would result in the show being in awkward limbo and removed from streaming and cable because it isn't mature enough to hit the adult target audience on streaming but is too dark to be featured on cable on a channel that specialises in animated shows. would be a shame indeed.
Corporate greed at it's finest. Our only hope of this show ever seeing the light of day again is if Owen decides to go independent in the vein of Hazbin Hotel.
What a great short, I sure hope it gets turned into a full show that gets to finish its story and won’t get ignored by Cartoon Network or removed from HBO max!
Oh woah this pilot looks cool. I hope CN picks it up as a full series and it doesn't get cancelled after 4 seasons and removed from a streaming service because of some random merger.
@@TheScarletSlayer Yes.... 4 Whole Seasons. And so many people like you had no idea it got past the Pilot. And now its too late and its being wiped from the internet.
@@TheScarletSlayer They dont want to pay the creators anymore so they are deleting Infinity Train on all official platforms and are deleting all mentions of its exsistance. Only way of watching it is by pirating it now. tldr: Corporate Greed.
My parents separated when I was a kid, and it was incredibly hard for me to understand and accept. I was so shocked when this show addressed divorce in such a caring way, I just burst into tears. This show has so much love and effort poured into it. It doesn't deserve to be forgotten.
wow! what a neat pilot! I hope it turns out to be a long running series with support that doesn't get canceled and thrown into the trash disrespectfully!
I watched the pilot for the first time when I was 13, and as goes for many people I was so excited to what this project may become. Infinity Train had been a consistent part of my adolescence and beautifully showed the circumstances of troubling people who were still trying to figure themselves out. What laid ahead for them. It already was upsetting see CN cut the production off short, due to corporate (and maybe even queerphobic) intentions. I'm 18 now and it rips me to my core what they've done to so many compassionate cartoons, including Infinity Train. People are reasonably livid.
For this show to be canceled "for a lack of a child entry point" just for discovery to remove it for HBOMAX because "they don’t (want to) target kids." is a slap in the face
I remember seeing infinity train for the first time, and I was so confused because it didn't show the actual name, and now I've watched every episode of every season. Knowing that it's being erased literally makes me want to cry rn.
Ever since I saw the pilot a few years back when it was first uploaded to RU-vid, I've been rooting for this show to succeed. I knew I'd seen something special, and I really wanted it to become a full series. I made sure to follow the creator for updates, and I still remember being super excited for that first season when it was announced. I'm grateful for the four seasons we did get, but I hate how IT and other animated shows have been treated in recent years. Not only did Mr. Dennis not get to finish his vision for the other planned seasons, but now it can't even be watched on streaming anymore. Even the pilot is gone. This whole situation is an utter disgrace to the animation medium and the people who put their heart and soul into making a memorable story. Thank you for reuploading this.
Warner Bros. Discovery will never gaslight me into this show's non-existence. This show was real! It was unjustly cancelled!! And it means so much to me :(
When I first saw this pilot I was awestruck and because of my lack of faith in cartoon network at the time (trash cartoons all around) I had assumed that it would never see the light of day as a series. Years later, lo! I discover that not only had it been made into a series, but there were 3 seasons with a fourth on the way. I logged into HBO Max and watched the entire show, and it exceeded all expectations I had from viewing the pilot way back in 2016. AND THEN IT GETS CANCELLED. AND THEN IT GETS DELETED. WATCH YOURSELVES DISCOVERY. WE DO NOT FORGET. WE DO NOT FORGIVE.
I remember I was sick one day and had to stay home from middle school and I found this short On Demand on my TV. I fell in love with it and wanted more! And I was so happy when I found out this show was finally getting a full length show! Then I was saddened to hear that it was canceled half way through its intended run. And then I was even more saddened when HBO Max and other services (including RU-vid!) Started erasing this series from the map! This is such a great show about how our own choices lead to our final upbringing and I am so pissed at Warner Bros for being greedy for throwing away this show like it was actual trash! I hope one day in the far or near future we can see this show get revived on another network or streaming service!
I can’t believe they even took down the pilot. That had millions of views. Everyone was so excited when it came out. Who is going to want to work with Discovery and HBO Max and Cartoon Network after this?
I’m glad for people like you who preserve what could have been lost media deleted by crummy executives who have no respect for great animation. This merger sucks.
I just had a thought. Correct me if I'm wrong, but when you think about it, if Warner Bros is writing off all these cartoons for tax reasons, then they're essentially removing any possible way of earning money from them, which includes removing dvds or official youtube videos that could still get views. So theoretically, if someone were to upload episodes of infinity train to youtube, Warner Bros wouldn't be able to take them down, because that would require acknowledging that the show exists and proving that they can still make money off of keeping it behind a paywall. As an example, look at Mission Hill, a WB adult cartoon that was cancelled after one season and left unaired to be forgotten until Adult Swim aired the remaining episodes. The show isn't available to stream on any platforms, but every episode has been uploaded to RU-vid from a DVD release of it. Obviously if WB still cared about making money from the show, they would have taken down the episodes, but the fact that they haven't may prove that the same thing can happen with Infinity Train. At the very least, every episode can be publicly available and people won't have to resort to piracy.
Not to mention that the show creator seems okay with it. If no more money can be earned from it and since it's being erased from CN and HBO memories, might as well honor the crew and cast by keeping it accessible
Thank you for preserving animation history and a beautiful piece of artwork. This pilot is so good and shows the exact passion and broad concept talents of Owen Dennis and his crew. Really appreciate this
I am currently hyperfixated on this show at the worst possible time. a few months ago I was still hoping for a season 5 thinking maybe it would be possible, but to see it now being completely disregarded by both HBO max and CN makes me livid. anyway, pirate infinity train.
I remember when I first saw this and thought, “meh it’s probably just some stupid cash grab,” and after watching it from season 1-4, I couldn’t be any wronger. FREE INFINITY TRAIN
For anybody interested, all four seasons of this show are on wat32 in entirely passable quality. Just have an ad blocker enabled to make the site usable.
When it comes to media coroprations neglecting their properties, I think a Cartoon Network property getting shot in the face by Shark Week wasn't on anybody's bingo cards.
Thank you so much for risking your life reuploading this!! I actually laughed and had a great time with this pilot. With whats happening right now with discovery it looks like Tulip will never get home 😭😭...
So I guess I'm the only one here who sees the TV-G rating is off putting since this series has a dark tone to be TV-PG (or higher). Putting that aside, Discovery is to mostly blame for de-listing Infinity Train since Cartoon Network and HBO Max are owned by them now and have no other choice to do so.
The trailer was already so good, but you can see so many improvements to the episode in the finished product. The train cars look sleeker, Tulip's design looks a bit better (though I honestly still like the original), and the storyline was even more polished. Then HBO and Discovery+ had to go and have their merger and ugh...? Why would you mistreat such an amazing show? I've been following it for years! I know I'm just a person on the internet complaining about stuff but I'm so mad it's hard to even put it into words.
The current state of modern animation is truly abominable and the blame doesn't even fall upon itself, it falls upon those who constantly and consistently fail to understand the love and care that goes into these projects that makes them as great as they ultimately are. Every time I think things are looking up, every time I try to give companies the benefit of the doubt, every time I think something is on the horizon that will make things just that little bit better I'm let down. I'm forced to my knees to do nothing but watch on in horror as everything burns to the ground for the billionth time already. Infinity Train to me was once one of those many flickering flames in a world of darkness when I first saw the pilot in June of 2018, a rather strange, confusing and very influential time in my life. If there was any time that I believe The Train would have picked me up it would have been here, especially after I pulled a "Tulip 101" if you know what I mean. After all of that waiting, after all of that build up, after all of that hard work and dedication that was poured into something that the creators loved, what reward does it get in return? Being snuffed from the analogs of animation history after being handicapped by streaming numbers halfway through its run (even if it was at one point a more viewed show than GAME OF THRONES) and then being promptly removed from the only platform from which it could be watched legally, meaning that the only way left to watch what I would consider a modern masterpiece is to do so through piracy. WHAT. THE. _FUCK?_ I've wanted to get into animation myself for a long time now, make my own shows with my own characters, worlds and stories that people would watch and love. Now I see that that was a fool's dream. This industry is FAR too hostile of an environment for my ideas to prosper and live in peace, it was simply never going to happen. What's the point of trying if things will always end the same? Why start making a show if I'm never going to see it end? Why write characters with arcs to finish if they're NOT going to finish them?! There is simply no point anymore! And so there my ideas will sit, left to rot and fester and be forgotten inside of my own mind never to be freed because that is where they are most safe. The deletion of this masterpiece pilot has more than proven that to me. This was my straw that broke the camel's back. I'm done. I'm so fucking done...

I hope this should become a real show one day and not be cancelled then every existence of it possible erased from everything, I mean that's highly unlikely I LITERALLY JUST REALIZED WHY DIDN'T THEY JUST GET RID OF TEEN TITANS GO I AM GOING TO BURN DOWN CARTOON NETWORK UwU
I'm glad we got more than the pilot, but they should have let the creators finish the story. So many shows and movies are just rehashing what someone else has already done. People don't want to take risks with new ideas. I really hope someone else helps to finish the story.
