When you remove the chemical food preservatives, there isn't enough food to feed the USA. The only reason people who shop can get organic, is because the majority don't eat it. They go for cheaper chemically treated. Without chemicals, America starves.

Q Hint: Prepping in food category is one thing! I said prep EVERYTHING and I really do mean EVERYTHING Because when all the stores DO close, and the reasons do not matter so much. YOU BECOME YOUR OWN STORE. You will have inventory for you and your loved ones. You will have extras to trade, barter, and sell. It's practical. Learn to grab up legitimate free items. I still save extra sugar, salt, and condiment packets from going out to eat. I used to laugh 😂 at people who did that ... until I fell on hard times and realized 😳 wow! It made a real difference. People DO leave things on the curbside as freebies. Churches ⛪️ give out food 1x a month. You can accumulate alot FOR FREE. Then use those items to trade. I traded used clothes for tiny boxes of raisins. I traded a used DVD 📀 for some fresh milk 🥛. I traded old books for someone's used t-shirts. It's all good. Both of us benefited. Q❤

@@lizadivine3785 it will not crash in large cities and commuting towns to those cities. Rents are not coming down either. Along the Hudson River in the NJ side facing NYC, studios are renting for $3000.00 and up per month. Purchasing a studio condo can run you in the millions plus your mo they maintenance fees could be $1400.00 or more depending on amenities. NYC moved into NJ and people are commuting. But they brought their purchasing power with them. What they paid for say $5million in any of the 5 boroughs of NYC, they can purchase a million dollar home in NJ with a backyard with maybe 10 minute drive to a commuter train into NYC. Same thing with Washington DC or Miami. I hear Texas is getting expensive because California is purchasing in Texas and bringing the prices of homes high because of their purchasing power. We are blessed to have a multigenerational family homestead. We all work either full time and part time outside of the homestead. There are 12 of us, 21 and up. His parents are retired and have their social security and pensions. The house is large with an inlaw apartment and an apartment over the garage. We grow almost all of our own food fornus and our animals. We moved from a very crowded suburban area with no property but very high property taxes. Now we have what we consider, cheap property taxes, under 3 grand per year and many acres of pasture, fields and woods. We all chip in for the chores on the homestead. We would never be able to retire where we lived before, we would be broke because of those property taxes. Our social security would have gone to pay those taxes and then we would have nothing to live on. With grocery prices continuing to go higher, is there a cap on those costs? I feel sorry for our kids and everyone else's kids. It was hard to afford the rent unless they had a few room mates and still they were all struggling to stay afloat. This economy is scary. I cannot stress this enough - DO NOT OVER PAY FOR YOUR HOME. Seriously, this is one of the biggest regrets people end up having and if the mistake is large enough you will be in foreclosure. Remember that the property taxes you see on the listing is for what they bought the house for, not what your new property tax bill will be. Also, your insurance cost for the house will be more. One more tip, your mortgage can and will go up in price. You might ask how since you got a standard fixed rate, it's called property tax reassessment. I'd also strongly avoid HOA's since so many have corruption and are doing some beyond ridiculous price hikes. Imagine getting a new HOA bill for $1600/month on top of whatever your mortgage payment is. Suddenly you now are paying $6k/month after the new HOA assessment. I'd wait until after election. If the Fed is smart they will increase interest rates to 15% or more to fix this inflation. That will tank the home prices. Now they could do something mind numbly stupid like lower the interest rates which would skyrocket the home prices worse than what you are seeing now. Anyone raising their home prices right now is also stupid. I've already seen that and guess what, they have had their listing for over a year now. Stay away from that. They might have gotten a HELOK and now are trying to get out before foreclosure. This also means things with the house have probably been ignored. Just for a cost of replacing things, so you have a reference, I'll tell you what I have replaced the past year. New roof $15k New hot water heater $1k Quotes for new fence $10k -$15k Quote for new driveway $7k-10K You could end up with those things going on in a destressed sale. Be very careful in this market. NEVER EVER GET AN ARM LOAN. It's a scam and those people usually end up in foreclose too since they can't dig their way out of that mess.

They are jacking up the prices on a lot of these houses because "investors" are offering $30-50,000 over asking price ... cash ... sight unseen. Many are from out of town. The guy who was doing some work on my house (another big expense that seems to be getting more expensive) said he has done some jobs on some of these houses and the owner just wants it to "look pretty". One example was just put new floor covering over existing, despite there being some rotted subfloor. My guy said that's not how he works. Since he had the lowest bid, the buyer kept him and let him replace the rotted area. So you may want to keep an eye out and see if any that you have looked at are back on the market soon. They may also have a buyer lined up.

Companies are not making record profits. The mistake you are making is thinking in terms of numbers of dollars. When in the last 15 year the number of dollars printed went from $1.68 trillion in January 2009 to over $20 trillion today, of course they are taking in more dollars. This is what happens during inflation. Inflation is an increase in the money supply which leads to a devaluing of the money supply as a whole. In order to maintain the same value when the currency goes down in value, companies have to charge more. But those of us who were warning of this for years were told we were nuts. People need to stop complaining about inflation and the prices going up. People voted for this and want thins outcome. Those that didnt prepared in advance because we understood basic economics.

This cost include insurance, house, cars, life, groceries, utility bills have gone up, there has been nothing not touched with rising cost here. This being one of the poorer states for income, rental rates are ridiculous, I sit here thinking, who can afford those rates? We have some of kids living month to month. We all have to really read about politics, economy, and learn about what is going on in our government today, so we can all make a very informed voting decision. This decision will affect our children and grandchildren for years and years. We have way to much greed in America today and less values. It is time to change that table around. God bless you all.

If I were you guys, I’d wait, for a bit, and see what November brings. Hopefully if things change in November things may start to turn around. It’s always hard to know what to do. We’ve struggled for a few years, about whether to buy property out of the county were in; but then you have to worry about thieves stealing your supplies (unless you’re living in a trailer on the property). Just really think about logistics on a blank piece of property. Infrastructure will cost the earth, then what to build. We have almost arrived at buying something and getting it refurbished. Good luck!
