Hey everyone,
I think it's important to note that schooling in EP is important. In this video I go over some of the things that are important to remember with regards with finding a school that teaches EP and the curriculum they are going to go over.
Here is an overview of the video:
-Location, location, location.
-Cheap schools vs expensive schools
-In-class vs on-site
-$ or $$$
-Placement or no placement
-Practical exam or no practical exam
-Elitism of companies who will only hire from certain schools--Executive Security International /Executive Protection Institute / Robert Oatman school of Executive Protection

How can I do PPO work independently. I have a well to do family that wants me to work for them as a bodyguard. I have PPO and paramedic cert. I work for a company, but they want me only not the company.

what kind of college education would help with getting a job in EP?

EMT A or B would be more helpful than college. EP firms want soft skills mixed with hard skills. They often like ex-military and ex-cops. The job requirements have changed and they want people with a protection mentality and someone the client can relate to.

Mr. Schwa I’m currently active duty and have been through the USMC combat life saver course. Would that be able to replace EMT training or would it be a good idea to still pursue that
