The velociraptors in Jurassic Park arw not velociraptor Mongoliansis they are velociraptor entropis more commonly known today as deinonychus
@theerickmancilla4632
@theerickmancilla4632 3 года назад
If you want to explain the science of jurassic world, understand the game because when you have the velociraptor at level 40 in jurassic world the game explains that velociraptors are of that size because they were genetically modified and some like charlie are like that because of the DNA of Iguana and many dinosaurs have differences since we remember that their DNA was very worn out so they completed it with creatures of our times it is logical that they look like this also in the times when jurassic park came out, science said that dinosaurs did not have feathers something that changed with the passage of time and seeing it I see the legs of the theropods are the same as those of chickens XD good video bro
@theerickmancilla4632

This is very well done The indominus did use the dna of Giganotosaurus,majungasaurus and rugops by the way,which is why it has such an abelisaurid like head.
@Andrey.Ivanov
@Andrey.Ivanov 3 года назад
All animals whose dna is know to have been used in the creation of Indominus rex include: Tyrannosaurus Velociraptor Giganotosaurus Carnotaurus Majungasaurus Rugops Pycnonemosaurus Viavenator Quilmesaurus Therizinosaurus Deinosuchus Cuttlefish Tree frog Pit viper Basically almost half of those are abelisaurids, so this definitely explains some stuff. The resemblance to Majungasaurus is actually very obvious if you look at its head in a front view compared to Majungasaurus skull in a front view. The little horns above the eyes are likely from Carnotaurus and then of course the skin armour of scutes is a typical abelisaur feature

I love how the Mosasaurus eats the Pteranodon at the end XD I will admit, as ugly as the Pteranodons are in this film, I do love how they permanently look pissed off. Definitely reinforces the whole "high aggression" thing (which weirdly enough, may not be too far off the mark, though it'd probably be more likely with male Pteranodons than female ones).

That's why JW and JP Were inaccurate Imagine a kaiju size mosasaurus wandering around the lagoon
@Ezullof
@Ezullof 3 года назад
I mean... the whole thing about JP and JW is to justify dinosaur designs by saying "they aren't really dinosaurs, they are genetically modified monsters based on dinosaurs". So they don't really need to be accurate ; even if at the time of JP' release, they were much better than other examples of dinosaurs in fiction.

Interestingly about the Mosasaurus, in Jurassic World and Fallen Kingdom, the InGen Mosasaurus doesn't have a tail fluke. Instead it has a tail like a sea snake or moray eel, which was what we THOUGHT the tail of a Mosasaur actually looked like. But in Camp Cretaceous, they've apparently corrected that mistake and given it a tail fluke.

Great works! I always wondered why the hell that INGEN did not genetically engineered their amphibian clone dinosaur hybrids to be far much more *docile* and suitable for domestication I mean the first 3 JP movies are original clones so their horrid behavior is understandable but the JW scientists have had every opportunity on their hands
@drchickengie2403
@drchickengie2403 3 года назад
I think they actually did it, at least in some animals: If you notice the Triceratops, Ankylosaurus, Pteranodon, and Stegosaurus look a lot different from their original trilogy counterparts. I like to think that those animals were engineered again, while others like Parasaurolophus, Gallimimus, and Brachiosaurus were taken from Isla Sorna. The best example of this theory is Rexy, which we know was re-captured and it's the same or a clone of the same animal we saw in Jurassic Park; on the other hand, the Raptor Squad Velociraptors were designed by Dr. Wu using as a base the original ones (he says this in Fallen Kingdom, and it's noticeable on their designs).
@Andrey.Ivanov
@Andrey.Ivanov 3 года назад
Well I think they want their carnivores to appear aggressive cause this is basically what visitors want to see. Many attractions were centered around feeding carnivores. They try to make a most docile breed of raptors though. In fallen kingdom we see that Owen specifically studied their behavior when they were young and he was most interested in Blue because she showed the best ability to feel empathy. As for the herbivores I guess they did something to make them peaceful atleast to some extent. Cause otherwise it would be reckless of them to let visitors to go true massive herd of giant animals in an not too hard to destroy glass balls
@drchickengie2403
@drchickengie2403 3 года назад
@@Andrey.Ivanov Exactly. That is reflected a lot by the Indominus, the public just wants "more teeth" when it comes to carnivores. The raptor where modified as well for the Project Ibris, they are still dangerous but definitely not as aggressive or rebellious as The Big One and her pack. And with Herbivours I like what you exposed, they made them more "friendly" and maybe cute if we look at the babies showed on-screen. I don't think escenes like the herding from Camp Cretaceous would have been possible with The Lost World Stegosaurus
@Ezullof
@Ezullof 3 года назад
An issue with making animals more docile/domesticable is that you also make them more socially intelligent. It could be the reason why the "raptors" are able to open doors by imitating humans, for instance. Why they develop hunting strategies, and maybe even language. Those are traits that can be observed in intelligent animals like crows or dolphins: they can be domesticated to some extent, but if they could also eat humans...

I really don't think the situation is so simple. It's totally ok to say that the animal in JP are inaccurate dinosaurs. Sure, there's a lore explanation. But let's not pretend that JP didn't influence how the public see dinosaurs. And it's true that it had a detrimental influence. Just look at all the people who think dinosaurs with feathers are dumb and they should look more like lizards.
