@@kszoo1 Sorry? I don't say they're monkeys. I know they are bonobos. In Brazil we call all the primates monkeys. It's not wrong, it's just the way we call it.
@@dnpxmz I'm sorry, I don't mean to sound critical but not all the people in Brazil call them monkeys. They are great apes, a totally different species. That's science, it doesn't change country to country, some people in the US also ccall them monkeys because they don't know any better. One easy way to tell the difference is apes don't have tails, only monkeys do.
@@dnpxmz Monkeys are the small ones with tails, Apes are like us Humans we are Apes too, people often forget that humans are animals too, Bonobos, Gorillas, Orangutans, Chimpanzees are Apes and share 95-98% of human DNA 🧬 that's why humans feel so connected when they look into these Apes eyes, it's like we can understand them without even talking ❤️
@@kszoo1well, actually, if we’re being super technical about it, they arguably are, and so are humans for that matter. We both belong to the taxonomic clade that is somewhat informally referred to as ‘old world monkeys’, and in monophyletic taxonomy, once something always something.
Bonobos i think are the most important great ape for us to protect and study to better understand ourselves. How can i donate to your organization?(scammers don’t even try)
I want to go visit this place so bad!!! They're our closet living relatives✌️The movie about Benni the Bonobo is 1 of the best ive seen for anyone else who loves these peaceful little Primates🖤
