It’s so good to see black doctors! I know the community is afraid doctors because of horrible experiments in the past. My wife is a black neurologist and the community specifically goes to see her. Healthcare is healthcare

That toe was ANGRY with her because she kept picking at it! Now that Dr. Jefferson has taken care of the problem her toe looks very calm! Another great job Doc!

I've never had an ingrown toe nail, but that looked so painful makes me feel so glad I have never had one. I'm sure after that procedure she felt so much better. Dr Jefferson made it look like a breeze. Anyone who is under his care is in the right spot to be in. Thank you, and your patient for sharing with us.

Man, I’ll tell you what, I’ve had ingrown toenails removed at least three different times in my life. Once that numbing medicine wears off them big toes hurt like a b!tch 😂

I had one ingrown toenail removed, the doctor did it without numbing the toe first. It hurt like crazy until the piece was removed, then it was instant relief!

So cutting your toe nails in the incorrect way can cause ingrown toe nails. It looks so painful, but dr Jefferson really does things with ease. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍

Absolutely, when I went to get my manicuring certificate they show you how to properly trim the nail so that you don't create ingrowns for your clients!

Not me over here cutting my toenails too short because my cerebral palsy causes me to be a toe walker. It hurts to walk when my toenails get to a certain length.

I know thats gotta hurt really bad. I know, because I get smaller ones, that luckily I've been able to get them out myself for decades (started when I was 9, I'm 30 now). They always cause me so much pain, but I know now to not let it go on long and not just "bare the pain," as it always makes it worse (who would've thought 😂) and harder to get out without making it worse. Anyways, I guess my point is, you did her an amazing service by taking care of that for her. Changed her life for the better, honestly. Also, you made me realize I need to stop cutting my big toe nails to short.

I had that issue and the surgery was smooth. The only painful part was 2 numbing injections. My doctor said it wasn’t the hygiene but how my nails were shaped. Ingrown toenail was just a matter of time. I had the surgery 20 years ago and never had any issues since.
