At this point i’m just perusing your videos, but they’ve been so helpful this allergy season! The percussion therapy and the morning breathing exercises especially. I’m a pretty athletic asthmatic (i.e wrestling, bjj), that has always had severe allergies since i was little. If i don’t take Flonase and have my inhaler handy, sometimes i can be your average hard-headed dude and think i can just work through the wheezing, but THIS YEAR -- allergy season hit me like a TRUCK. Thanks for helping me breathe better!!!
I was told to use a spacer because of not being able to hold my breath, to breathe in and out with the spacer to get more medicine. It was also to lower risk of yeast infection in the mouth with certain medications which is also why rincing is recommended ( COPD)
The other day I was doing something, and I use my spacer with my inhaler to calm me down because I was not able to keep my breath After using the inhaler with the spacer, I realize how much better I built Later on, I was sitting at my desk doing something on my computer and again started having a hard time breathing. I got the bright idea to take an old inhaler that was used up, inserted into my spacer, and use the spacer to regulate my breathing. I did it for the count of 10 and felt very much better. Now, whenever I’m sitting and doing something, I use an old inhaler, inserted into my spacer and practice my breathing with that. I obviously use the inhaler to block the end of my spacer. I don’t know if this makes sense, but it seems to work really well for me for breathing exercises
I stopped using spacer when i saw how much medicine coated the inside of it just after one week. You are supposed to wash it weekly but before you wash it stick your finger and feel around. Sticky residue
