Some of the most popular songs ever were sung by people who didn't write the piece. whitney Houstons famous performance of "I will always love you" was only made possible because dolly Parton wrote the song. I like listening to artists who write their own music, but that's not to say I dont listen to artists who dont. And you do, too. So dont act like you dont.
Elijah, I do not think I'm the first to say it, but his voice and how he plays reminisces about U2's very first albums and his voice is very much like his father's. This is not a comparison or criticism, but something that is perceivable. The sound you make is very good. Continue, there will be when an EP will be released.

I cannot believe how much Elijas voice sounds like a young Bono. It is eerily similar. I don't get excited about too many bands anymore but this band has great potential.

I agree. Going to see them in Toronto with my daughter. What a moment... I texted my daughter if she could do me a favour and check out this new band I heard of. She told me she already knew them and had all their tracks and loves them. Asked if she would go to see them in Toronto with me and she freaked out. Amazing! I can't wait. Great music. She also had no clue about the famous connection Elijah has. I don't want to dwell on that, but its def there. (Found out about the band through social post from his sister. Like a famous guy said... its a family business, and I support the fam!) I think this band will be huge and I'm so excited to discover them early in their career.

Must be annoying to get compared to your famous dad all the time but it’s inevitable. I grew up with U2 and his voice actually sounds like a younger Bono but not as seering. More controled. Bono screwed up his voice by belting it out hard all the time. Live he sounds nothing like he used to. I really like inhaler. Great sounding band. One of the better new acts that actually sounds like a band.

Sounds like a cross between Joy Division, U2 and the Killers, singer is not the best vocally but he's got personality and considering what s*** in the charts now at least it's a half decent song, listened to a few, very similar but they've got something.

I admit I checked out this band because of the U2 connection, but now I am enjoying Inhaler's music for its own sake. It's so refreshing to hear a new, young band playing alternative rock. I would definitely go to one of their shows (and take my nieces) if they ever play in the USA.
I'm 50 and i discovered U2 when i was 14. I heard this going through new bands lately and i liked their sound i was hooked. It is good to hear good music coming back. I looked them up on RU-vid and to my surprise i discovered it was BONO'S son. WOW! I'm proud to say i discovered U2 almost 37 year's ago and was a fan through the 80's,90's,00's and 2010 up to today. Now I'm discovering his son's band. HOW COOL!

See, it reminds me of several different U2 songs from 2001 to present, but nothing prior to this. He sounds SO much like his dad it's insane and even the song structure has a U2 feel to it. These guys are their own band so this will be the one and only time I will compare them to later U2...because they sound a LOT like U2. I also noticed Elijah's guitar is similar to the style his dad used to play.
Damn. They say that they are influenced by the Manchester sound, and they aren't kidding. The Smith's influence, IMO, puts them into a whole different league than early U2. Early U2 was very heavy in percussion. Inhaler is very heavy in lyrical guitar work. The Johnny Marr is strong in these lads. It is a timely and a timeless sound.

Al principio suenan muy parecido, es normal si es el hijo , pero mientras la vas rodando, escapa automáticamente de U2, el tema tiene personalidad propia, la voz de Eli, tiene su personalidad y de hecho ya me hice su fan, música joven con influencias de buenas bandas, esto es música.

Here because Google sent me a news headline that Bono's son's band debut at #1 in the UK Charts (Google knows I'm a huge U2 fan). I rolled my eyes expecting yet another celebrity kid riding their parent's coattails but opened Spotify to look the band up and fell in love with their sound. Props to Inhaler. Elijah is genuinely talented and could have made it in the industry with that level of talent irrespective of who his father is. I'm also struck by how much his voice sounds like his father's, gives me goosebumps to listen to.
It shouldn't be good on paper, I should find it cringy and feel like they are u2 imitators.. But its actually good. Id buy an album of songs with this quality. I like that 80 guitar stuff anyhow. Good job.

Briliant. They have their own sound. its difficult to try to have a band, when your father has one of the most worldwide famous bands already.....but that is why i support these guys and promote these songs. Raw, unbridled rock n roll man.....I hope they keep playing, writing, and making their own path on the music scene landscape!
