Hi Rhonda and Tina, I am a 60 year old man for what difference that makes, and I am getting the same goosebumps, it's very strange. I don't know if it's because of covid, a desperate desire to here something new I like, or that they are going to be the biggest band that ever existed, I just don't know. If anyone knows how to place a bet on this please let me know. I went to see them in Liverpool, I brought my son a t-shirt before the gig, I told him that it was always a regret of mine that I had not brought a t-shirt when I saw The Clash first toured, after the gig I was so memerised I brought my own t-shirt with the UK tour dates on. I know how I write, sounds a bit wimpish, but hey it's cool today (lol). I grew up following punk in the 70's.
This is the first song I ever heard them play and it's still my favorite off the album. Love the tempo, the minor to major chord changes, the "Wicked Game" twang of the guitar, the harmony vocals, THAT lyric that sneaks up on you, the ethereal sound of the bridge. It just all works so well together and makes it a stand out. P.S. Eli's voice is similar to his dad's, but much better.

I’m 58 and a U2 fanatic since Boy dropped in 1980, having said that, Elijah sounds just like Bono especially in the soaring voice. His voice is more mature than Bono’s at that age, but anyone who doesn’t hear the similarities in their voices and the bands sound are not listening closely. Inhaler have a great future and I’m a fan, first album is great. I hope U2 come back for more than a farewell tour after things get back to “normal”, but Inhaler may make 40 years of great music, like U2 have, and I hope they do. U2 is the best band ever and the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree in these voices!
I love this band. He sounds a little bit like Bono, he should that’s his Dad it’s not a bad thing. He has his own style and that’s what I like. They are are all really great.
So much love for this band I think this is a amazing song on the album it goes on repeat so many times when driving ! I think it's unfair to compare with U2 but this is a great start for sure I am looking forward to more quality releases.
Saw them live last Monday at 100 club in London. What a gig, what a band, wish them all the success they deserve when they're putting out bangers like this
