In object-oriented programming (OOP), inheritance is a fundamental concept that allows a new class to inherit properties and behaviors (attributes and methods) from an existing class. This relationship between classes is often referred to as an "is-a" relationship.
Here are some key points about inheritance in OOP:
Base Class (Parent Class or Superclass): The class whose properties and behaviors are inherited by another class is called the base class, parent class, or superclass.
Derived Class (Child Class or Subclass): The class that inherits properties and behaviors from another class is called the derived class, child class, or subclass.
