Hey Tugboats, welcome to episode 1 of my series Inheritance (aka Horse Ranch). I'm so happy to finally share this with you all, I put so much passion and love into the opener because I've been feeling super creative lately. This let's play will follow my sim Rory as she figures out how to keep her grandma's ranch up and running. What came easy for her grandmother, isn't coming so easy for Rory. How will she get by?

The narration helps with the story I love. Sometimes it's hard when some players are afraid to do VO to help move their stories along.

All I did was watch the beginning into and was in tears😩. I’ve NEVER felt that emotional over a sims LP. Just reminded me how I wish I had more time with my dad after he passed away while I was in college during my finals as well 😭😭

Animal Name Suggestions I figured with her horse being named Cookie to stick to a food or drink theme. Cream Mini Sheep- Muffin Spotted Mini Goat- Chai( Chai Latte lol) White Mini Sheep- Lamb Chop ( like the show from the 90s) Spotted Cow- Moon Pie

If you go to the relationship panel under Livestock you’ll be able to select lock/focus camera on said animal and boom you found em. Lol 💕

I actually love watching you figure it out bc she's figuring it out too and I haven't played yet so it's all new to me. But you can lock the gates for certain animals or types of animals so they don't run off like that. But omg GIRL the HOUSE. Like I've been inside that house lol I know that house! I am so excited for this LP 😭 I loveeed playing with horses in the Sims 3 and I'm so excited that we have them in the Sims 4 now! Also your storytelling is always phenomenal and keeps me super hooked! Don't worry about this episode being more gameplay focused, that's always nice too, and you always manage to tell stories while playing regardless, so it's still incredibly entertaining! Super excited to see where this goes, and I also have to mention just how gorgeous your Sims are 🫶❤️❤️ As for name suggestions: cream sheep: Peony white sheep: Poppy goat: Tulip cow: Marigold Kept them flower themed because I absolutely love cute flower names for farm animals 🥹🫶

Guuuurrrrl you are missing out with the content they had for horses in sims 3! It puts this pack to shame but, this pack has kinda been worth it. Not necessarily for the gameplay but definitely the build buy and some of the cas. You can lock mini goats and sheep behind a gate so they stay in the fenced area.

the mini goats aren't so cute when they headbutt your sims leg/run into your sims leg. to find the mini goats and sheep go to your relationship panel then click on livestock when you click on their (picture) profile you can either focus the camera on them or lock the camera on them, this also works for chickens, dogs, cats and even horses. I had to do this a few days ago - somehow my mini goat ended up at my neighbours house and wouldn’t come home, and locking gates (or doors) doesn’t seem to be working

I added a stall with the sliding stall looking door to my barn to lock my sheep and goats in - just toss a hay rack in there and they can't get out but still eat and sleep just fine. For SOME REASON they didn't think maybe we'd want to lock them in a pasture or something but hopefully a mod comes out for it soon!

After I edited this, thought about clicking them from the relationship panel. Idk if they show up there but if they’re like chickens they should. Could be an easier way for us to locate them 😁 also definitely gonna try lockin them goats up! 🤣

Goat-socks or goose Cow-Bonnie or Bessie Sheep names for both- Norman,Willis,Franny,Wilma,Pearl and Shearly if you get the joke😜 And just some random ones If you don’t like those-Simpleton,Sherbert,Bashful, Winnie,Shaun,Frosty,Artie,Ethel, Hester,Horace,and Rodger

Seeing the horses remained me times i went my great-uncle Ben's home in California he died from covid about two years ago i grew visit his house with a big backyard with a mountain of rocks and horses in the backyard i remember how my cousins and I would be playing for a few hours until nighttime unless it was time for a barbecue on the grill i miss him sometimes
