Thanks, I did a work along with this, I'm just a beginner to zoia but it's a win for me... I created a sequence but didn't get all the modules right. Thanks for sharing, it's the best way to learn!
Cool video. FYI, if you're connecting modules across different pages, you don't need to hold it. For example at 5:57, you connected the Gate in and the CV Divider. If you have one patch ready to connect from one page, and you switch pages, the Page Left and Page Right buttons on the left side will turn from green to yellow. It's confirmed when you pressed the CV Divider (right before you say to hold the button down and switch pages) and the screen goes from a parameter to the 100% connection screen. Same thing happened with the Sequencer CV out and the Osc. You had connected the modules, while you were looking for the modules to then connect.
@@FerniFFI had mine since it first came out, and I've backed up all the firmware updates. I suppose I could downgrade the firmware to prove to myself that I've been doing it wrong the whole time. I'm pretty sure I have been.
Ugh, you’re killin’ me! Haha. Picked one up and it’s been sitting on my studio desk for two days now. Can’t wait to plug it in this weekend. Another solid video though! Love the capabilities of this thing.
@@STATXMUSIC My best advice is to start with an objective. Pick a thing you want to make before or you'll likely end up with a huge messy patch that makes no sense to you the next time you turn it on.
Inflatable Robot that’s a good suggestion cause I can see how easy it would be to go down the rabbit hole with it, lol. Seems like one of those pieces of gear that can be as simple or as complicated as you want it to be.
I’m not gonna lie, I started pulling out my hair when you laid down the second adsr instead of routing one to both. Conserve that CPU mang! This is why there are no Mult modules except clock dividers.
Yeah that second envelope was totally unnecessary, but there's still plenty of cpu overhead and I was trying to keep the pace moving. It's that balance of "make it perfect" and release it never vs "make it good enough" and release it today.
