I think the race against Ryosuki was the most difficult so far. Even though this was against a Pro racer, he had never done a street race before. Ryosuki was just as skilled as a Pro racer, except he specialised in street racing. Plus Takumi versed Ryosuki with the motor that only had 150hp, Takumi has a 240hp motor here & the weight of his car was reduced significantly.
@@neko_zensei517 This is the new engine that was for pro racing, specifically Group A. The old engine cannot rev to 11000rpm. Do you think with this Group A engine that it still has 150hp? Ryosuke specifically stated that it had 240hp.
Fuck yeah I heard alot of ppl say they didn't like the last part how takumi won! But man this is my favorite race out of the whole series!!! 2nd best is fc vs Evo 3!
Ok let's see. These are the "legit threats" in the show, when Takumi really could have lost (or did lose): Ryosuke Kyoichi Tomoyuki God arm and god foot Bunta
There's something about how the Todo School's sensei reacted that made the last scene as great as it was. Already knowing that Tomoyuki would lose on the last stretch due to the drivetrain difference.
@@Bishops1414 You could argue that was neither dirty stuff by Tomoyuki yes. Although Tomoyuki did imply what he did "not dirty" because such bumps are common in Pro's. (Not sure if such things allow in actual Pro motorsports)
@@zackrider3708 to put it into perspective, pulling up a hill is more difficult than pushing up a hill. Think about gravity and where the weight in a car is distributed going up hill (FR advantage due to more grip in the rear allowing higher efficiency in regards to putting the power down) vs weight distribution while going down hill (FF advantage due to more grip in the front inducing the same effect as mentioned above, as well as better handling characteristics).
This is the Episode where takumi started to improve so much like he just learned a new trick from a pro and used it professionally and it made him win. It’s like he’s adapting to the situation

Read MF Ghost and while it did have some great battles, nothing can hype me up like this. Knowing MF Ghost is battling in broad daylight, I think there will be 0 chance for us to see this kind of battle but if we had, I wanna see Kanata do this too. Or at least introduce Ryosuke (the head) and have a demo run of the fd, fc, and 86 at night.
I was racing a guy in fr Legends norlay and the race went exactly like this. Including the end... Kind of. I passed the guy on the bridge. It was my hardest opponent.
@@kjsworld2 i use an ae86 and the guy on front uses an 180sx speed as the ek9 it was hard like this it takes me 4 rounds the battle is like front and back in front i cant barely shake him with an high speed and braking at cornering
