@@EkzYaY nope. It's just First Stage minus Myogi battles and Impact Blue arc because that's how it is in the manga. Plus the CG and the art style does not follow Stage 5 art. It's different
@@breme818 I mean yeah for 1998 and on a not so great budget, it was really good, not only that but seeing the cgi/3D animation quality increase each season was also pretty cool
DUDE I love how you made the rail tap look right, in the original it just made him start drifting down what looked like straight instead of an inertia corner, and in the remake thing they didnt really show it, but this actually shows how cool it was, one of my favorite first stage moments.

The fact that you could hear the roar of the engine and how the camera focuses on the 86 after Takumi recovered shows this animator knows what they're doing and how well it was executed! Awesome work!!
I love looking forward to each one of your videos to see how you're going to recreate a race and also seeing the little details in each one. Like in the close up shot on the ae86 after it spins. You show how pissed off Takumi is by the sound of the engine. Just, amazing. Keep up the good work.
This is so smooth! I wish there was a whole movie with this particular style. More like an arcade than the anime draw style! But I like both very much. Also, it reminds me of the second stage of Initial D, because it feels more alive with those detailed movements. Love the cinematic.
I love the extra details of the chromatic aberration when Shingo hits the wall, and in the moment when Takumi recovers from the spin, how you can hear every bit of emotion, and see it in the way the car moves in that moment. Solid gold. Well done.

i got so much to say about this the cars feel heavy as they do in real life, the 86 spinning and doing a 360 felt awkward and anxious (in the good way, since takumi wasnt ready for it he woudnt have that much time to think about it), takumi hitting the guardrail to drift to the other side looked like it was involuntary and quick, just like it would in real life, and the corners felt fast and didnt last 2 minutes like in the anime, and since we dont see the inside of the cars it feels like we're watching the race like the spectators short version: nice animation man

Takeshi: When an average racer loses his cool, his chances at winning are gone. Starts making mistakes, and his speed suffers. But this guy is different. His innate driving skills take over on a subconscious level, allowing his Eight-Six to perform at full throttle. The angrier he gets, the faster he goes. Way to go, Shingo. You just handed him the race.
This is by far the best of these I've seen so far. The cars really feel like they have weight, and the handling feels right for the different drive trains.
wow , this must have taken so much time . Its really well done .its like a better 1st stage. add the exposition and its a perfect fit on the show. you can remake the entire 1st stage with these skills . I hope i was as good as you . i suck at blender.

Want to see the Wataru VS Takumi, second stage act 12/13. Personal favorite of the series. Or Keisuke vs God Foot and/or Go Hojo, all three were great races with a little something extra.

Damn that looks amazing~. Like the only thing that could have made it perfect is if sparks were added when the EG6 hit the guard rail. Some sparks and small bits of smoke and dust.. outside of that.. absolutely beautiful.
My favorite eurobeat is from this battle, it takes place right before this scene, “don’t stand so close” it’s a recommended listen for everyone. But once again you’ve done it, I’m surprised I didn’t get the notification for this I’ll be sure to fix that
Great drop on the music. This was a fairly low-stakes race in the entirety of the series, but one of my favorites due to the raw emotion and multiple bumps and bruises throughout.
лучшее видео по атмосфере, лучше прошлых по графике и музыку суперскую подобрал. визуально выглядит очень суперски, даже лучше, чем в сериале, видно заметные крены в повороте, видно как передний привод на выходе чуть сносит из-за инерции, но в последствии открытия дросселя направление автомобиля сразу же равняется вектору инерции, круто вышло, надеюсь следующие подобные видео будут с музыкой, похожей на оригинал и будет вообще идеально)
You can tell how pissed Takumi is even tho theres no expressions and just the cars driving you can still see the fury of the 86 gaining carelessly of damage, this is incredible!
I am a Japanese Initial D fan. I was impressed by the many behaviors that were faithful to the original work scattered throughout the short video. I was also impressed by the fact that there are many parts of the video that are not in the anime, which I have actually driven on the mountain passes in Japan and had to supplement with my imagination.
Very nice quality! It's a cool video!! If I may say a personal preference, I would like the background to be a little darker to give the atmosphere of a mountain pass at night more! I think it would make 86 and other cars , illuminated by the headlights look even more attractive
